Re: Next Year No the figures I have quoted are for this year in £'s and for 2015 in £'sGames -- it's the decline in the pre-tax profit, EPS and dividend I'm focussing on.

Re: any thoughts FRTEB, which is strange considering all the links I sent you illustrate it's been in his portfolio from the get go and I'm pretty sure I was not seeing things in the October list, which I didn't download.Anyhow -- forget it for now -- perhaps focus on the last post I made and discuss the next year scenario which is probably more important.Games

Re: 27.9% acceptance at this moment In fact I'm wondering -- usually a share price falls if a takeover collapses. Here, I'm actually wondering if the offer isn't actually *responsible* for the fall, at least in part -- by tying us to an undervaluation. Maybe the price will actually rise if the offer collapses. On the other hand -- this is SMDR...

Re: any thoughts "Games -- Not sure where you are getting your monthly lists from, but on the woodfordfunds.com - where you will need to register you can view the list. It was on his October list as updated in November and it disappeared off his November list in the early December update. "---------- ---------- ---------- Games, I downloaded the excel spreadsheets direct from [link] have the spreadsheets from August, September, October and November. Catlin is not listed on any of the spreadsheets.

Re: 27.9% acceptance at this moment I've not been party to many takeovers but from what I can remember, the first declaration of acceptances has usually shown rather more than 27%.

Access Fire and Security Anyone know if AF & S own their high street building ?I see there is assets on the books at over £ 200 KA google search shows this as their base:-x7d2c6f9de3fee3b0!6m1!1e1?hl=enThis" target="blank" rel="nofollow">[link] site looks ripe for redevelopment into residential.Somebody said their web site looked a bit mickey mouse but it looks OK to me:-[link] they do own the building and the office can be integrated into existing operations then maybe this is another reason for the acquisition.Looks a bit undervalued so took a small punt yesterday and bought in at 4.00p - one for a bit of a recovery over the coming months maybe.

But if the credit is withheld part way through 2015 (because oil is too low ie the banks wont take the risk) they are short of cash, ...they can issue more shares to raise cash but the share price will be battered for current holders

"this looks like a back door takeover at a price that previous management not only would never have agreed to, but were not given the chance to demonstrate could be achieved" yes, could agree more. Best Doji

As has been noted not all oil is hedged in 2015. Alma if it comes on stream has a production cost of $90 (I have read) would not be surprised if its postponed because they will make a loss on every barrel at any oil price below that. This is partly why they need more credit (to pay for the cappex)
