PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday BarleyBaron: dkok. Learnt a lot about you over these past few days… your wrong. When your right your wrong. When your wrong your really wrong. When you make a reasonable assumption… guess what. Probably best to throw in the towel, its so not worth the effort. Best wishes. Baron. BB, You are wrong: it is “you are” or “you’re”, not “your”. IMHO, SBK

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday GreyCarpet: Very well said Dkok, when these threads break into the main stream media , some hiding behind keyboards here wishing the most vulnerable in society Dead will have some explaining to do. It’s disgraceful to allow posts that promote the death of members family and friends. Threadbare - Don’t worry there’s zero chance of your boring posts going viral. Sounds like you’re feeling a bit downtrodden @GreyCarpet … go get yourself a shampoo to cheer yourself up maybe.

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday dkok: is that whilst you have comparative youth now, Oh really? … what an arse. dkok: Mark my words, if we do not leave the EU now, we will forced to do so in ten tears time. I will be here to see, and will waste no time in smearing your smug little faces in the faeces at that time. And mark my words @dkok… if we do Leave the EU then the UK IS going to suffer and so will the poorest… and when they all wake up and realise that… you , your smug Brexiteer mates and the whole set of current politicians are going to be in the firing line. No matter what happens, we will be back in the EU in the years to come… because it simply makes financial sense. You can look forward to that one.

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday To all the Cocksure Bright Young Things There was a time when being 50 plus was looked upon as a postitive benefit. Those few grey hairs meant that a portion of life had been lived, experience gained and more than a little wisdom aquired in the process. These days, that counts for nothing. But one point I would make to you all, is that whilst you have comparative youth now, you are all ageing with each second that passes, and trust me, it will not be long before you are regarded as old farts with nothing to contribute. I hope then that you are greeted with as much sneering disregard as you have shown over the course of this, and I am sure the other Brexitwars 3 etc. threads on the ii boards. You thoroughly deserve it. Mark my words, if we do not leave the EU now, we will forced to do so in ten tears time. I will be here to see, and will waste no time in smearing your smug little faces in the faeces at that time. Tatty Bye - I am commenting no further as it is quite clear exactly what you are all up to, and you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves.

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday frog_in_a_tree: we cannot know what proportion of those in their middle years might be becoming less liberal and pro-Brexit as they age. You are quite right Froglet. As I grow older and lose more brain cells each year, it is entirely possible that if I live long enough that my brain would be so confused and impaired that I too became a Brexiteer with no coherent arguments, no rational though process and gleaning all my stories from the Express, Guido Fawkes and Right Wing conspiracy sites. However, that’s not gonna happen as next year when #BrexitRef2 is held then I’m expecting a clear margin for Remaining in the EU.

frog_in_a_tree 02 Aug 2019

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday Clearly Fynne, actuarial data is beyond you. However, I might offer you a crumb of comfort in that as a proportion of the elderly die and are replaced on the electoral roll by young voters (which is logically true), we cannot know what proportion of those in their middle years might be becoming less liberal and pro-Brexit as they age. The only thing we have is the current opinion polls which also have a margin of error. Personally, given that the polls are consistently showing a Remain majority over many months of + or - 4% then I will go with that for now. Whilst none of us wish an early death for older people, it is clearly the case that they tend to die sooner than younger people. What is not often commented on is that ill-health and mental debility also takes a disproportionately higher toll on the old and this also may prevent them from voting in the future. The only reasons we are having this debate are because of the very slim referendum majority for Leave allied to the much greater propensity of older people to vote Leave. Wishing you continued good health, Frog in a tree

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday Sir_Buns-Up_Knealing: says Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee Must be true then

Sir_Buns-Up_Knealing 02 Aug 2019

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday GreyCarpet: It’s awash with corruption, and that’s a reason alone for exiting stage left , but alas the EU Groupies will still claim they have not had one genuine reason for leaving, Only the desperate would wish the older members of society dead , shame on the remainer posters that support the disgraceful posts by way of tick ups , ii really need to address this issue before it goes public and gets to a wider audience. Now then rugger, You are getting behind. Hestletine and Clegg amongst other have been making the same demographic points as I for two years. Obvious truths which are well public. See Polly here (though her estimates are on the low side). the Guardian – 17 Jan 19 On Saturday the UK turns remain. Parliament must force a second referendum |... A population shift means young remainers have replaced older leave voters, says Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee IMHO, SBK

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday It is true that Spanish unemployment is high by international standards. You can find some of the reasons here: [link] You will note that the EU has had little to do with it. The political management of the economy and labour law is a matter for the Spanish government. On LaGarde, she was at least tried for her negligence unlike Grayling who serially wasted millions during his ministerial offices. As for whether she should have been more severely punished, neither you nor I have access to the court’s reasoning and we should not presume to dubstitute our own judgements for those of the judges…even if you hate her and the EU. She is reckonned to have done a decent job as head of the IMF. The European Commission will have done all necessary background screenings, I am sure. Cheers, Frog in a tree

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday GreyCarpet: Only the desperate would wish the older members of society dead I don’t wish the older members of society dead Threadbare. Just a fact that the dotards who voted to Leave are becoming worm food faster than those who voted to Remain whilst all the time young people become eligible to vote. Now go and roll up somewhere.

J_Westlock 02 Aug 2019

PM Boris Manchester speech Saturday dkok: Spanish unemployment rate for under 25’s is 33.09%. Not really a sign of a buoyant economy is it! Is that a reason for the UK to leave the EU? Just shows that states within the EU operate independently and each has their own set of issues. As ever, you Brexiteer types just try to stir up a lot of mud and fling it around like idiots. The real reason you voted to Leave was Immigration… as you eluded to earlier.
