11.5.15 Detection Technology RNS 11/05/2015 071 RNSNON Touchstone Gold Limited GOS Systems Improves Detection Technology" Major Upgrade to Tactical Intelligence PlatformLondon, 11 May 2015 - Touchstone (AIM: TGL), the AIM listed investment company, provides an update on GOS Systems ("GOS", a UK security technology group recently acquired in accordance with Touchstone's investment policy.GOS is pleased to announce major enhancements to its tactical intelligence platform, which is based on GOS's patented selective network diversion technology.GOS's tactical intelligence platform enables real-time detection of cellular, voice and SMS, and its suite of products features bespoke hardware and software systems for mobile phone identity retrieval for target identification, locating and technical surveillance counter measure. The enhancements have significantly improved the platform's capability to detect across multiple telephony networks in much shorter timeframes, and also allows for the implementation of new detection techniques. Several of the enhancements were facilitated through collaboration with major clients of GOS and the upgrade will be made available to existing and new clients immediately.Franz Forrester, Touchstone COO commented "The advances reported today by GOS are the result of careful and assiduous planning by the team and represent another important milestone in the continuous development of GOS as a serious and credible player in the critical sector of homeland security. The past few months have proved the benefits to TGL of having acquired GOS from administration last year and investing both in the team and in capital investment in technology upgrades." "[link] TGL announcement is a further sign of what a quality outfit GOS Systems is.It also looks like some of the enhancements may have been specifically requested by customers, which certainly bodes well for orders.GOS's aborted £30M. IPO in 2013 would have given it a pre new money valuation of £22M., and I don't think they were too far off getting that float away, before being stymied by market conditions.Since then a few things have changed regarding GOS Systems and its market:1. The homeland security challenge has increased, resulting in increased funding for this sector, increased demand for products and services, and increased valuations for such companies.2. GOS has had its debt stripped away by the administration, invested further into its technology, and benefitted from the support of Stanhill merchant bank and a stock exchange listing, as well as TGL's cash.

Microsoft of Quantum Computing? "Quantum computing operating system developed, says Cambridge company01 May 2015While there has been significant activity in developing technology that might enable the creation of a quantum computer, there has been less activity in the development of an operating system that might control what that computer does. But Cambridge Quantum Computing (CQC) says it has done just that. Called t|ket>, the OS is said to be facilitated by a proprietary custom designed high speed supercomputer, also built by CQCL, that simulates a quantum processor. In a press release, the company said 'CQCL is at the forefront of developing an operating system that will allow users to harness the joint power of classical super computers alongside quantum computers. The development of t|ket> is a major milestone'.Quantum computers, when they are built, will take advantage of superposition, in which a qubit – the processing element – can hold a value of 0 or 1 or both simultaneously. According to some sources, a quantum computer with just 50 qubits would outperform any current supercomputer."Quantum computing will be a reality much earlier than originally anticipated," said CQC. "It will have profound and far reaching effects on a vast number of aspects of our daily lives." "[link] computing OS could speed up arrival of powerful PCsJamie Hinks 3 days agoFuture techCambridge-based firm takes up the taskCambridge Quantum Computing (CQCL) has developed a new OS designed to run the quantum computers that will shape our future. The new OS, which is called t|kit>, has been facilitated by CQCL's own proprietary custom designed high-speed super computer and this allowed the company to accurately mimic how a quantum processor will work."CQCL is at the forefront of developing an operating system that will allow users to harness the joint power of classical super computers alongside quantum computers. A post from LSE, 17.4.15 Thanks to YellowSnow on LSE for this excellent post this morning: YellowSnow Posts: 9 Observation Opinion: Strong Buy Price: 0.65 RE: Good GOSh!!! Today 10:44 "Nice Summation. I too have noted these deals. It's plain to see that GOS is a highly valuable business in a market very difficult to get into. With their unique platform and established Multi National Oranisation and Governmental Contracts they will be on quite a few radars as an easy way to get into the market. However it won't be easy to get required shares off i.e Mr Khan and The Chileans and Italians. The way I see it is they are what they were and in a stronger position than two years ago without debt but with a clean balance sheet and still bringing in High Level Lucrative Contracts. But everything has it's price and 12 months + down the line, would the big holders be tempted by a $75m take out? If they can buy a Cryptographic Business to link in here, then they are really made. Quantum is great for the future, but at the moment Cryptography is the real mc'coy. This is what I am reading between the lines in the RNS's with Professor Gibson on board to advise, and recommend such businesses for acquisition by TGL. Very very rarely in my experience do you get such a top quality executive directorship and advisers in such a undervalued company. These Technology Firms are rare to get at such a price imho, so i personally would take advantage. Corporations, and Government Agencies ( and there are thousands ) need precisely what GOS have to offer. Regards."[link]

14.4.15 Smart Desk Systems RNS 14/04/2015 071 RNSNON Touchstone Gold Limited Smartdesk contract renewals " ... Smartdesk is pleased to announce several contract renewals demonstrating the ongoing support of customers including Virgin Media, JP Boden and Eurostar. The renewals will see the Smartdesk platform continue to be utilised by clients to meet their communication needs. ..."[link] good to have confirmation that the recent exit of Steve Berry (who founded the company) from Smart Desk Systems has not impacted upon its progress. Not that you would have expected it to, given the quality of SDS's offering, and TGL's business ability. Today's news also highlights the recurring nature of the company's revenues, which should be more highly valued, and the size and quality of the company's customers:[link] GOS Systems and Smart Desk Systems are clearly a good fit inside TGL, both in terms of the type and quality of business, customers, personnel, and even their names.
