Re: 24p chart resistance should get test... Garyob,Totally agree. Testing the 24 and finally passing it would target around 29/30p IMO .With RSI at around 52 the break out would have a way to go before it becomes overbought and touches the 200 day moving average again ( next level of resistance in theory ) It should be noted that SOLG is now trading above the 50 day moving average and has closed above it too. Final point I want to make is that copper has performed very well of late and copper producing companies will have healthy balance sheets as a result ! Much like for oil ( also doing a lot better ) investors are in my view under pricing these commodities and under estimating the impact of commodity prices doing well for some time . With prospects looking good too. WIth that in mind the majors are therefore wealthier and in need of replenishing their reserves ...world class mine called Solgold ....is just what they should like .

Re: Going to call it It's not a question of if, it's when in my eyes. Although interesting that Black Rock have taken 5% they have trillions of dollars. Wonder if they are positioning before the next Resource announcement to then step in with a bid?

Popular Looks like SOLG is a popular ISA stock this morning. You'd think they would try and hide the manipulation a little bit more but it's days like this that lift the curtain just a little.New tax season underway and every cat, dog (and rat) is loading up with SOLG.Looking forward to a strong Q2 as newsflow should be strong... and the market should finally be in a mood to listen.HUB

Re: Going to call it One db, Dare I say it that listing on the main market has really hurt us as II'S are manipulating the price within the rules to build stakes in the company like Blackrock. Meanwhile pi's continue to suffer and the spreads are ridiculous. Hopefully, sp will be allowed recover to it true value once big II'S have their stake. Any future fundraising should be done with a strategic partner or be open to all shareholders in my opinion and this situation would be avoided. However, may all work out for best as the NM didn't want to give Newmount a bigger stake imho as they may have had to much power and potentially been in a position to block a takeover against the interests of shareholders.Just my viewSeagull

Re: Going to call it Hi Seagull2You just answered yourself. As and ex in Asset Management when a big trade had to be put through you had to work the order through quietly and LSE rules allows to report the trade when the full order is completed. You can have a few days to work the order but full disclosure is then mandatory. Its done to protect a big buyer or seller. Or such operations would become impossibly expensive. We saw in the past Dark Pools emerge precisely for such reasons . Also post closure on a daily basis you have the process of crossing . Bids and Offers that during the day did not cross but needed a fill . They get to cross after market at best available. Hope that helps and to my best of knowledge that is how it used to work Alternatively the LSE has the RuleBook on its website as well as AIM

Re: Going to call it Can anyone please explain why over 500 k of shares were traded at 16.30 hrs but, the purchases are never shown in the days trades? Clearly if that happened during the day and was reported ontime when the transactions took place it would push the price up ? Seagull

Re: usual senario Thanks ....I totally agree with your comments..

Hub 27 Mar 2018

Re: usual senario The usual scenario has been ongoing for sometime now which suggests that the usual needs to become the unusual as the trend is due a change. It's been over 6 to 7 months now of drifting and that's not easy to maintain in a market that does not do consistency with ease.I think you'll see a change in SOLG once April kicks in with mid 20's to early 30's in H1. H2 could and should see 40's.Market cannot continue to ignore progress while awarding other sector players with rerates.A few analyst notes would not go a miss and SOLG management need to get a site visit and some industry marketing going imho.HUB
