"Fabrication of the plant modifications at RHA have been completed and are being transported to site. Civil construction work has commenced and the Company is targeting 06/07/16 for completion. Bulk test-work on the tailings indicates the potential to supplement ROM ore during the underground mining ramp up phase. Early XRT results on a low-grade bulk sample from the open pit confirm the potential for the upgrading of the ore. Positive update from Premier African Minerals with the modifications to the plant remaining on schedule for the 6th July. The Company is looking to ramp up production levels to 9,000t per month from the underground mine." Northland note out this morning on research tree

Northland's note out this morning on Research Tree: "2015 was a difficult year for Premier African Minerals with the ramp up of the open pit suffering from grade issues leading to the suspension of production. Added to this, issues with the processing plant led to delays in production from the underground operations. Despite the problems encountered the Company is now on the verge of building the underground operations to 9,000t per month from June 2016."

SP Angel published a note this morning on Research Tree: "Premier African Minerals reports a loss of $7.86m both before and after tax in 2015 (2014 -$537,000 loss). Premier African has clearly had to address a number of challenging issues on the geology, resources, mining and processing in the development of the RHA tungsten mine. The diversification into limestone and forestry assets in Mozambique could provide an additional source of near-term income.esday, 14 June 2016 when the Company is anticipating being in a position to advise the outcome of these Los Calatos Partnership Process negotiations."

A mineral processing plant is not like a washing machine. You don't just put ore in, turn it on and then get concentrate out. Every piece of equipment needs tning and fine tuning, you need to get the ROM grade right, the crush and grind siize correct, the ct off points right on jigs and tables - all the time you will be getting something out - but not neccesarily an optimum process until everything is spot on - that process can take months.
