Re: Possible Relisting The question is if Zhongrun would benefit from a return to market or not? As a majority stakeholder in a company currently running under the same guise as a private company, would they have more to gain? As mentioned previously, I am unfamiliar with the legalities of a company in suspension, and what it can and cannot do.

Re: Possible Relisting ProsylInteresting point.I have been holding since around 2007, and still hold every share that I bought along the way. I am nursing big loses, hence why I never thought it worth selling the grand or so I have left.I would like to know the legality of my position, however I have not had the time nor will power to investigate it further. Any attempt to contact the company would probably be met with an automated response...With the POG rising and looking very interesting for the future, this shines another light on VGM.Obviously the company is still digging gold out of the ground and workers are being paid, so the wheel is still fully in motion. Is there anyone else out there?

Possible Relisting I note with interest the particular extracts from the RNS of 30 May 2014“Irrevocable undertakings to vote in favour of the Cancellation at the General Meeting have been received from Zhongrun and SCD Shareholders in respect of their respective beneficial holdings of, in aggregate, 256,697,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 74.35 per cent. of the total issued share capital of the Company.”“SCD, representing 8.69 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company, has confirmed to the Board and to Zhongrun that they are supportive of the strategy for the development of the Company set out in this document and has given an irrevocable undertaking that it will not take advantage of the opportunity to sell its shares to Zhongrun”Does it imply that at that time, some 25% of total shareholding was held privately.I too have kept my shares , and wonder how many shares from private individuals are still out of the hands of Zongrum.Has anyone any contact with SCD Energy ? If they are still not selling their shares to Zhongrun, it would be an opportune moment to try and find out what they might wish to do about relisting.

Re: Gold at 1358 this morning nice one Portia Would be quite an interesting come back if oil stays low and gold continues to rally

Re: Gold at 1358 this morning VGM responded. The controlling shareholder Zhongrun has not yet discussed the re-listing.Not ruled out then!Good Weekend.P

Re: Gold at 1358 this morning I wonder at what level gold would they contemplate a return to the markets........good question. No harm in asking I guess. I'll get back to you.P

Gold at 1358 this morning Based on the last update current spot price is $50 above the All in cash costs One could be quite optimistic with gold prices down the line too . I wonder at what level gold will they contemplate a return to the markets .

Re: Anyone knows the latest Quarter Great work Portia With gold heading to $1400 and oil no way near as high as it was back in the $100 a barrel days I suspect that any improved on the previous quarter is going to give them a maiden profit or as close as . Looking forward to the update and if bond yields are a precursor to anything , its good news for gold and hence VGM

Re: Anyone knows the latest Quarter For anybody interested I've received a response from VGM. An operation update will be provided half year ended June 30th 2016. Any day now then I guess.I asked when they will be re-listing............GL

Re: Anyone knows the latest Quarter Hi onedb1I've sent off an email to VGM requesting any information etc. Still holding.GL

Anyone knows the latest Quarter update ? Am quite confident that it should have been quite a decent one . Long game here ! I only have a small position but keen to know that in a few years time if Gold rallies further and VAtty does well, they may well return to market and rally

Re: Operations update due soon ? Suts, I try not to dwell too much on how much I've " lost" on this. Not selling for a pittance somehow helped me retain a shred of dignity with myself. No offence to anyone who did sell however as we all have our own views and strategies. I've no idea if VGM will ever be in a position for us to access the shares on open market again or even if we'd be allowed to trade on whatever circumstances were attached to such a market. With gold approaching $1300 as onedb1 stated, we'd be in a decent position right now.Someone's gonna make a lot of dosh on this sooner or later, I just hope we get a chance to join in.GL

Re: Operations update due soon ? Well I'm not selling! If they send me a cheque one day by way of settlement so be it. In the meantime they are tucked away but not fully forgotten about. Thanks for keeping this alive Portia and onedb1.

Re: Operations update due soon ? onedb1.I noticed the extended share buy back offer on their website.....smells fishy to me. Guess they must want them for next to nothing before they re-list when the shares give a true value? One can only speculate.....and pray.Still on my radar too.GL

Re: Operations update due soon ? Portia Its due soon and should be an even better view than last quarter due to rising gold prices and relatively low oil prices , I also noted this on their website for those who prefer to sell the shares for virtually nothing [link] those who may not be aware brokers have zero £ costing accounts to store some of these shares so at least if you don't have a broker account that is too active you don't spend quarterly fees or whatever to keep the account . Do some asking . Am pretty bullish Gold at the moment and looking at various charts . A break out could lead into the 1320-1350 areas and many small, mid and big caps would benefit Shame that its delisted as this would be doing better now than when it closed .
