Re: HOT MADEN I haven't posted here for a while, so just to let you know I'm still very much around. I topped up a few more @ 71.45p using a bank overdraft facility which will repay after the PEA (which breaks a golden investment rule I believe, such is my confidence). Glen Parsons has recently described the likely PEA figures as 'Staggering'. I'm personally at the bullish end of the MARL investor speculation spectrum and am expecting all-in costs (AISC) to be substantially better than Dic's $400/oz best estimate (!) (perhaps even exceeding $300/oz for a single-phase development scenario moving directly to underground mining) and think we are in for a very exciting end to the month and run-up to Christmas.GLA!!

PEA Can't be more than a couple of weeks now. Will we see more buying ahead of the event?

Re: HOT MADEN as you say prOtOn marl is an explore not a producer and they are getting ready to move on ,hence the latest acquisitions, but i do not think they will sell before the drilling results resource upgrade and bank feasibility study for which i would hazard a guess of $400 to $450 ptoz could even be lower production cost

HOT MADEN It`s one of the kind so to speak. There is no doubt in my mind that Hot Maden holds in excess of 10 million ounces( see map).Of course, it would take great deal of dollars and drilling to prove that.Production would last for 20-30 years if not more. For the small explorer like MARL there is always balance between dilution and sale if suitable offer comes in.Next few months should be interesting....[link]

Re: let's not get carried away I reckon we will get further carried away when the market opens after today's RNS

Fowlertheprowler 01 Nov 2016

Re: let's not get carried away Agreed, I did suggest retrace as we approached mid 80's and we're not going to break 81.3 resistance today. However, we have still come a long way in a few days and if we manage to stay up for the day and consolidate around here before further news I'd gladly take that!

eltelex 01 Nov 2016

let's not get carried away We are doing well - expect some retrace on way up.Already seeing some easing here.

Fowlertheprowler 01 Nov 2016

Re: Breakout! As technicals suggested it's gapped up into the 80's.Next resistance level is 81.3pSo if we can close comfortably above this an assault on £1 is not off the cards, although I suspect we will pull back as approach mid to late 80's and establish a new base in early 80's awaiting PEA, but we'll see If you look at Barchart technical analysis from link below 100% buy ratings on all matrix currently. Re: Valuation life changing Ah Fowler TP, that explains your earlier comment with more clarity if your ISA is basically Marl solely. Risky definately yes but fortune favours the brace on the plus side and all eggs in one basket on the other.Incidentally I have been in and out of Marl over the past few years and will be honest my current price point of entry is 55p. What does make me surprised is the chart here and how to me the chart shows a high of £5 3 years ago when clearly that must have been more on hope than findings and results. I genuinely hope for you it would works well. As for me I feel a top up coming.BestMaverick

From link "...I believe there is a new opportunity in Mariana Resources. The company has higher grades, higher drilling efficiency, and is not even being talked about. The stock trades very thinly [in North America] and has not been mentioned by anyone yet, despite being the largest discovery in the past 5 years. I believe this to be the calm before the storm, and think it's an excellent opportunity to acquire shares before it moves into the spotlight."

Re: Valuation £5 a share looks achievable Though half that would work for me

Fowlertheprowler 31 Oct 2016

Re: Valuation life changing It is my entire ISA (which I recognise is reckless), but nothing from my pension which is ringfenced in its entirety and for my own safety. I absolutely should diversify within my ISA and intend to do so at a particular point (which I prefer to keep to myself as I do not want to influence people and get it wrong!) . At this point I will reduce my exposure on AIM to less than 20 per cent of my ISA and will trade through my ISA in a manner similar to the Naked Trader!

Re: Valuation life changing Can I be inquisitive and ask what percentage of your portfolio is taken up by this stock? Mine for example is 5 percent at current value. I agree that things here are starting to liven up a bit and it's a HOLD with buy on weakness if possible.

Re: Valuation life changing Everything is relative and I don't have expensive tastes!

Re: Valuation life changing Blimey Fowler TP you must have a huge holding!
