Re: ITM Try another time there is no doubt that green technology is the future and relatively little risk take a look at BIOMEand PHE all three are no brainer buy

Re: Going up Andy. Nice ITM rise today up 6.7%, not sure if there is news about, but we might find out tomorrow if a RNS comes out.I bought some PRSM early today, and it went up 3.3%. See how it goes.Loadsadough

Re: Sunday Times Lol. It was a website article. Came up on my Google newsfeed because I had recently looked at a different article on the subject. They are certainly getting a lot of press on the issue.

Re: Sunday Times C11 - thats quite an admission to say you look at rail magazine! Such a pity Network Rail are setting about cutting down a horrendous number of trees, in the face of a lot of opposition from people concerned about the environment... a bit of inconstistency on their part putting trying to make engines less hostile to the environment, and at the same time trying to cut lots and lots of trees along the lines down!

Re: Sunday Times I saw this on a website - railmagazine - 'The company plans to convert Class 321 electric multiple units to hydrogen operation by fitting on-board tanks for the gas, which when combined with oxygen can produce an electrical current to charge fuel cells for traction.'

Re: Sunday Times Wonder if they have thought about using one of ITM Power's smaller PEMs on board trains that run on tracks that are only partly covered by overhead power lines. Currently they have to use diesel units if the train goes beyond the power line. A hybrid fuel cell / overhead unit could generate hydrogen whilst running on overhead lines and then use fuel cell / battery on the remainder of the route.

Re: Sunday Times Yes I read this. Alstom the French train manufacturing company are planning to convert up to 100 diesel trains into hydrogen powered ones on Greater Anglia line. Possible national rollout. No mention of ITM participation. I read in a different article that Alstom have collaborated with Canadian company Hydrogenics in the past. I guess they may need a large supply of hydrogen from somewhere if all this kicks off, so ITM may benefit indirectly. The project is also mentioned today in The Telegraph and City am. Good press.

Re: ITM RNS LoadsaD - I saw on the BBC news (I think it was) some guy using human (solid) 'waste' (with a loo he had adapted, and which he put some 'composting like' meterial down with a shovel - and the comment 'It doesnt make sense to flush our 'waste' down the loo anymore'! I like the sound of that - there are more and more of us humans, and it makes a lot of sense to use the massive amounts of 'waste' we produce to convert into green energy! Pity some of the 'waste' material regularly posted on theses BBs cant be recycled into somethng useful! Oh well - ITM making more progess I am glad to say! Hope all goes well - ATB -
