Hope you can survive until then!

Re: Back to 10p by end of Jan? On past performance presumably you meant 10p by end of Jan 2040 Martin? Wonder if Kembery will still be clinging on then...

Re: Acquisition RNS just out At least someone in Belgravium has seen sense - as the AFS website now appears to have been taken down - let's hope your analysis of the benefits of the FeedBack Data and AFS acquisitions proves correct. Personally I have rather more hopes for my 6 month old holding in Xeros (XSG), which I had hoped to hold for the medium term, but am now tempted to take the 100% profit...

Re: Acquisition RNS just out may_sell you make a valid point in relation to the AFS web site and as a new BVM investor it is disappointing that this was not dealt with at completion. On a positive note I think the merger of Belgravium's Feedback Data Business and AFS is completely logical given that both companies operate in the access and security markets, one specialises in CCTV and the other manufactures high end access control products for organisations like Harrods and British Sugar. Having pulled the 2013 accounts for Feedback Data Limited it is interesting to note that after just 7 months Belgravium has turned a £522k net loss into a £141k net operating profit. More interestingly they have increased the net margin which is a very healthy 56%, 20% above the industry average for security companies. Looking at AFS's accounts for the last 5 years it is interesting to note that the company, up until last year had reported net operating profits in the region of £100k. My view is that by adding these two companies to the groups portfolio will add significantly to its value. On the surface it appears that Belgravium is delivering on its stated strategy of building a product, software and service portfolio that helps organsiations capture, move, and manage critical information, providing businesses the means to access real-time information anytime and anywhere (*taken straight from their website!). Surely that's a good thing?

Re: Acquisition RNS just out Not a great fan of Facebook and Twitter Martin - more for the kids and the chattering classes! However it would be an unusual B2B business that didn't maintain at least a minimal interest in its website. Remember that it was in Feedback Data's own words that its product range was obsolete, so when you put that with an apparently moribund security company where's the value?

Re: Acquisition RNS just out But a company that is still making money. Integrate it with Feedback and things can only get better?Im sure they will pull the plug on the website soon enough and re direct it or update it. Im guessing AFS are a B2B buisness, so the website is not going ot be the be all and end all of the buisness. If it was B2C then that would be a different matter. Surpised you are not shouting that they have no Facebook presence!!!

Re: Acquisition RNS just out Suppose I've just lost count of similar upbeat Kembery comments over the years which have been shown needing to be taken with a large pinch of salt - don't imagine that many people were exactly falling over themselves to buy AFS. A website that hasn't been updated in nearly 7 years is not suitable for a business of any size; hardly "stringent standards" - just a very bad sign.

MartinRTucker 06 Jan 2015

Re: Acquisition RNS just out IMHO if it makes any profit this year its a bonus. 12 months time, hopefully it will be integrated within Feedback, overheads will be cut, bottom line increased!! Win Win!!

investor678 06 Jan 2015

Re: Acquisition RNS just out It is called priorities.....Laborious as it is to keep responding to your negativity....the web site will no doubt be changed...but as they only officially completeted on Friday it is hardly a crime.....I think integration and settling the staff is a higher priority thab for a web site refresh, which it has to be said, most believe to have been suitable for a business of this size. I I am sorry it does not mett your stringent standards......triivial point you raise, but whilst on the subject of your views 'May sell'.... this company has cost net just shy of £300k.....what profit do you think it should yield ? It was hardly going to impact the ahre price but does make a nice expansion to the already succesful acquisition of Feedback!

may_sell 06 Jan 2015

Re: Acquisition RNS just out Still seems rather a lot for a Norwegian Blue - you would have thought they would at least taken down the dead website immediately. Pleased to see that a recent purchase (Xeros/XSG) is doing rather better; up 40% since I posted about it on 25-11-14...
