Mixed update The good news - the £1.2m Certas order is huge compared to £9m+ annual turnover, plus there's recurring income and the potential for more. And it's for Certas' petrochemical fleet, which is a new sector for BVM if I'm not mistaken. The bad news - Q1 has been slow and the results will be H2 weighted, though we know the Certas order will be coming in and there's mention of other large orders.Impressive new non-exec appointment imo.The share price may be marked down, with some small traders exiting. Medium/long-term I believe prospects - and the valuation - remain interesting and am happy to hold.

Positive comments from NovoIVC New interview with Novo IVC's CEO, with some encouraging snippets:[link] now in a highly competitive position to increase market share and capitalise upon the significant number of opportunities in our sales pipeline""In recent months we have added further personnel to both the sales and development teams to ensure we can respond to the strong levels of interest we are seeing in the airline business""2015 will see the Group launch several new core products and announce significant new partnerships""2015 will see further strengthening of our partnership with CGI. CGI is a business and technology service company, employing 72,000 people across the globe......This has culminated in a securing of a number of new contracts with the first going live during the first Quarter of 2015"

BVM's cash higher than thought The other good news from the Annual Report is that BVM has a much better cash position than is evident from the prelims due to the amount of deferred income in trade payables.BVM have £0.73m cash, £2.83m trade receivables, less £2.14m payables (total payables less deferred income), less tiny borrowings.BVM therefore have around £1.4m of effectively free cash to spend on more acquisitions etc.Not bad against a £5.8m m/cap.

Re: Encouraging Annual Report comments Ha ha! Have you ever read an annual report that doesn't include encouraging comments? I'm sure there's a 'Word' button to generate this kind of corporate waffle automatically...The main question for Belgravium: what is Kembury's (as the largest shareholder) exit strategy to fund his long overdue retirement...

Encouraging Annual Report comments The Strategic Report in the Annual Report released a couple of weeks ago is well worth a read, as it's not included in the prelims RNS. It includes a number of encouraging comments:[link] Group has a clearly defined acquisition strategy and the directors willcontinue to consider acquisitions in new market sectors and geographies whichwill enhance earnings.""Following the successful acquisition of Feedback Data during 2013 we weresuccessful in the acquisition of Access Fire and Security (AFS) during theyear. AFS has now been merged into Feedback Data and strengthens the company’s position in additional market areas where traditionally it had been on the periphery namely: fire security systems and CCTV solution, broadening the product range and customer base. This will allow Feedback Data to further develop its geographic reach andimprove its offering to new and existing customers.""The Group, although well established in several of the major Europeanmarketplaces, sees a clear opportunity for further European expansion.Strategies are in place to extend the Group’s coverage of this very significantregion.""The technologies available within the Group have applications outside the fourprincipal market sectors currently being exploited. In all field based applications there is an ever present demand to improve customer service and to lower the costs of providing that service. The Group is pursuing a number of opportunities which will broaden the current sector coverage."

News of new contract roll-out Very good news from yesterday - Wincanton must be a fairly large account even if this isn't RNS-able, and this solution will roll out over the coming months, benefiting current year results:[link] retain Wincanton as key 3PL accountTouchStar have supplied fit for purpose warehouse terminals to Supply Chain Giants Wincanton for over ten years. Pleased with the service they have received from TouchStar, Wincanton have upgraded to TouchStar’s latest generation of warehouse terminals.Back in 1993 TouchStar won the custom of market leaders in supply chain solutions Wincanton. TouchStar successfully installed narrow band and TouchStar’s older generation truck mount terminal, the Monaco into their GSK Brockworth and Middlewich sites. Due to many years of great service and support by TouchStar, Wincanton decided it was time to upgrade to TouchStar’s next generation of Warehousing solutions. Their existing Narrow band infrastructure is in the process of being upgraded to Wi-Fi and their terminals upgraded to TouchStar’s newest portfolio additions.Wincanton experienced first-hand how TouchStar’s rugged devices had not only enhanced their warehouse operation but they had also seen a great return in their investment. It therefore made perfect sense to upgrade to TouchStar’s latest generation of Technology. They are currently installing the Vienna truck mount and the Boston 8550 handheld device. The Vienna is both rugged and fit for purpose with an IP65 rating, GPS and a faster operating system it is perfect for all warehousing environments. Similar to the Vienna, the Boston 8550 is perfect for rough and tough environments with a stainless steel chassis which adds to its robust design. The upgraded solution will see Wincanton continue their successful business relationship with TouchStar Technologies. The solution is set to rollout over the next few months and will enable Wincanton to benefit from the markets latest generation of rugged warehouse terminals."

Re: Share price bouncing a little On a volume of next to nothing, so there's very little to read into that except a distinct lack of interest. As I have commented before, Xeros (XSG) just down the road is much more exciting - and financially rewarding!

Share price bouncing a little Nice to see the share price bouncing this week. Forecasts remain at 0.6p EPS, with a 0.15p dividend.NovoIVC have a new brochure out which is a good read:[link] Extract: "Flexible payment solutions Novo IVC were the first company to put Chip & PIN EPOS systems on-board an aircraft. PCI DSS v3 compliance provides fresh challenges and opportunities to Airlines and Railways. Novo IVC has the experience and partnerships to help you navigate these complexities. SkyPOS and TrackPOS are also multicurrency and provide comprehensive reconciliation facilities. No sale need be lost from lack of flexible payment methods."

Single-digit P/E plus dividend 0.6p EPS this year, with a dividend and a sound Balance Sheet, makes BVM pretty good value at current prices imo.FYI I contacted the company, who confirmed that the system in the results which could be deployed on some 650 vehicles is indeed the contract which was deferred to this year. Which should provide a nice bonus. In addition, I understand that recurring income rose from 46% in 2013 to 50% in 2014.This is an extremely important - and encouraging - metric, and one which I'm surprised that BVM don't highlight right at the top of their results narrative. It's something which I'm sure a number of investors aren't aware of at all.

Looking very good online You can only buy 25k maximum at 5.25p, but you can sell 200k at 5.1p, i.e almost the mid-price.

Analyst says P/E of only 7.3 Excellent coverage here, particularly the broker comments:[link] more than treble at computer firm Belgraviumpublished 15:20 Wednesday 04 March 2015 HANDHELD computer firm Belgravium Technologies said annual pre-tax profit more than trebled to £475,000 last year. The Bradford-based firm said a sustained sales effort brought good results in the fourth quarter of 2014 and annual revenues rose 12 per cent to £9.4m, boosted by the first full year contribution from Feedback Data. Chairman John Kembery said: “2014 was a much improved year with increased revenue and profits. The group has made continued progress in extending its activities and offerings to cater for a wider and more discerning market. The board believes that further progress will be achieved in the current year.”The group said it won’t pay a final dividend for the year in order to conserve cash for a potential acquisition that has been identified. Mr Kembury said negotiations are still at an early stage but the board anticipates that if the deal goes through, it will be financed from the company’s existing cash resources and bank debt. If the acquisition does not proceed, the board will look at paying a dividend following the announcement of interim results in September.Analyst Eric Burns at WH Ireland said: “Belgravium’s full year results are bang in line this morning and show some very decent progress year on year. “The statement also flags that as discussions are ongoing regarding a possible acquisition, the company has decided to pass its final dividend. “With £700,000 in cash, the shares have clear value attractions trading on a current year P/E of just 7.3 times.”Belgravium designs, installs and maintains software applications and solutions for the airline, rail, retail and logistics industries. A major part of its strategy is to provide solutions that create a long-term relationship with customers and repeat revenues. Its mobile retailing software can now run on all three major operating platforms, Windows, Apple iOS and Android whereas previously it could only work with Windows."

Lots of positives As well as the optimism in the outlook, I'm also particularly cheered by the successful expansion into other sectors, notably the new rail contracts. Not only have BVM sold their EPOS solution abroad (Czech Republic), but this in particular sounds like big news: "A number of pilot systems have been delivered in to the transport sector and are progressing well. One such scheme, which could be deployed on some 650 vehicles, is expected to commence during 2015."

gretel 04 Mar 2015

Good news today Excellent results, bang on target with 0.5p EPS and £0.7m net cash:[link] encouragingly, there's another acquisition on the cards, so BVM are postponing the final divi until it's finalised.Forecasts are already 0.7p EPS for this year. Another acquisition, following the recent AFS purchase, could send forecasts up to say 0.9p EPS, which would leave the current share price looking ridiculously low.Above all, the outlook statement is VERY positive: ""2014 was a much improved year with increased revenue and profits. The Group has made continued progress in extending its activities and offerings to cater for a wider and more discerning market. The Board believes that further progress will be achieved in the current year."
