Déjà vu Belgravium must seem like a fairy godmother for a dying company. AFS claims 'Cutting Edge Technology', yet has a rudimentary website that looks as if it nothing has been going on since 2008 - last one out, please turn off the lights... Oh dear, oh dear - not surprised at the negative market reaction.

Acquisition and trading update Trading update and a "strongly earnings-enhancing" acquisition from cash...a real mixed bag.Even with a large contract deferred until the next H1, BVM still expect to make £0.5m PBT, around 50% up on last year, i.e 0.5p EPS with no/minimal tax charge. So an almost historic P/E of 10.There must be some "private company" costs to be striped out of the acquisition, so this could perhaps add £100k-£150k+ to PBT at a stroke. No doubt there will be an initial markdown on the trading update, but this just means the upcoming H1 will be much stronger than usual. Happy to hold through this given BVM's transformation and wait for bigger gains due to the acquisition.

The value of IPR Good rise today (7.5%, 30% in the last 3 months) for a smart new AIM outfit just down the road from Belgravium: Xeros Technology (XSG). The market likes to see a company building IPR - not something that Belgravium could expect to achieve...

'Cheep' at the price Wow, the dizzy heights of 0.05p again after another small trade - still short of the low when the price crashed around 25 years ago! A good one to line the bottom drawer; maybe the antique value of the share certificates will exceed the market value at some point...
