Re: Current NAV is 660p !!!! ..... big disco... Read the front page of today's FT Companies section. The Indian government is up to its old tricks of levying some retrospective taxation of Indian fund managers which will presumably hit JII. I have no idea what the impact will be (if any) but suspect the uncertainty is behind the discount.

MOIL platelicker 16 Apr 2015

MOIL in “active discussions” [link] VSA said the approval will renew investor confidence in the stock."Having spent US$300mln over the past 11 years, this step is clearly a very important achievement for MOIL."The firm was able to convince the Malagasy community that this heavy oil project can be developed in a commercially viable way."According to VSA, the approval also makes the company much more attractive to potential farm-in partners or outright acquirers, some of whom already have an interest on the island.

AML highsnlows 16 Apr 2015

Re: Price Both are right ....III adjust the price by the amount of the divy and give the stock an artificial closing price. Then on Ex Div day the sp can trade relative to its adjusted divy price. In this case, at the mo, AML is down by a couple of percent on the adjusted price.Hope that all makes sense.HnL
