Christmas present for 2018 Great RNS for those who kept the faith. Still so cheap with market cap at circa £14 million and massive revenue generation coming with more to follow.Financing looks sorted too so no reason this shouldn't be one of the shares for 2018. Remember it hit 30p just on progress rumours.Wakey wakey market. I know it's nearly Christmas but here is a present to kick start the festivities.Have a good one everyone.

RNS This morning "Westminster Group Plc:Major Middle East Project Opportunity UpdateWestminster Group Plc ('Westminster', the 'Group' or the 'Company'), the AIM-listed supplier of managed services and technology based security solutions, is pleased to provide an update on its previously announced major long-term project opportunity within the Middle East. On 22 September 2017, the Company announced that certain Board members had met with and reached agreement with the client and other administrative bodies involved on the key points of the long term Middle East project opportunity. Since that time, further extensive discussions have been taking place regarding priorities, order of roll-out and the client's growing requirements.Whilst these negotiations have taken longer than expected, the Company is pleased to report that senior management, including the Chairman and CEO, have just returned from an extended visit to the country concerned and all but a few more minor commercial and contractual issues have now been agreed. Due to the complexity and increasing potential scope of this project, it has now been agreed to undertake the project in phases, with the initial phase expected to be worth approximately €24m per annum to Westminster. Any future extensions and changes of scope are expected to be subject to price revision. In order to achieve the commercial and contractual agreement, the contract required approval by a number of governmental departments and organisations, all of which have now been received. The client now has one final internal approval process to complete and whilst with any project of this size and complexity there can never be certainty of timing or outcome, the Company expects to provide a further update on this project opportunity in January 2018.Plans are in place to raise the required funds to support investment in this project and other potential new Managed Services contracts, details of which will be announced in due course. These plans are now expected to be implemented in Q1 2018 with the commercial and contractual issues having been agreed later than anticipated at the time of our Interim Results announcement in September 2017The Company will provide a trading update on its business activities for the year to 31 December 2017 in January 2018."Well done Eadwig, owl and any others as it looks like this companies luck is just about to change massively for the better. Got a few this morning and paid a little bit more than market close last night but still a very cheap market cap for this phased deal.Own due diligence

Re: Sub 10p seems about right What a difference a day makes!

onewayticket 21 Dec 2017

Sub 10p seems about right It seems to be stabilising around the 8.5p to 9.5p range until the financial uncertainties get sorted. One that might be worth a watch for 2018 and that has business one strand in the Airport sector is Stobart Group who amidst Biomass interests, a remaining 12% stake in Eddie Stobart Logistics - also operates Southend Airport. There are ambitious growth plans afoot with that one to multiply passenger numbers through the airport to 5 Million.Own due diligence

Re: Investors are getting restless Do your homework. At 1st Sept the company had £400,000 cash in hand;it has raised £750,000 subsequently.Total £1,150,000.It is burning though between £150,000 & £200,000 cash a month nearer the later figure recently according to figures given;say £700,000 cash gone by the end of this month. At last balance sheet trade payables exceeded receivables by around £250,000.There is a £2m loan due within the next six months.Even if the mystery contact arrives it will need start up financing, will it make money? (Does anything ever here?).In any case ongoing running cost/loss in existing businesses need financing.Millions are required. What is the point of it all.The existing businesses seem less than worthless....

Re: Investors are getting restless Patience seems to be ebbing quite steadily. At some point it might become a stampede.I guess there is nothing the management can do about it. They are probably not in control of their destiny.

Re: Added today @10.1p onewayticket, "Just hope it doesn't fall back like all the others."I already took the profit. Twice now around 10% in a day on my last two buys. Still have plenty of shares left just in case it does take off, which it has a history of doing, either on rumours of imminent contract completion or any media article that runs over the potential from the contract. The rises are, I believe, indicative of the minimum rise we can expect if and when the final contract is ever announced. Meanwhile, I've been happy to keep on trading because a negative outcome is always possible and I don't want to over-commit, plus the negotiations go on and on and thus give plenty of time for any excitement generated to die away ... giving yet another low buying opportunity.
