Re: Closing my long term short here Hi Db1 it appears that you could be right as the MM since last week have been playing with the bid, and moving it up quite a bit on low volume....Its like they want to start an uptrend....albeit slowly the wheel seems to be turning - I've been watching with interest

Re: Closing my long term short here When they say trend is your friend ! !!! I closed the short -that was open for such a long time- but should have stayed short ! what a sensational chart ! Had the chart been sloping upwards we would have seen this board full of interest .

Re: Perfect short this one ! Remember my post back in April ? Not many here since . Chart don't lie , it didn't then it isn't now . Though it may be basing . Or about to . In other words we may be seeing the end of this incredibly good short. All the best and good night ( didn't realise how late it is already )

Bearish despite RNS Recent RNS from Vernalis: "Total revenues are expected to be ahead of current market expectations, principally as a result of larger than expected research collaboration milestones, already announced to the market. With better than expected total operating costs due to careful cost control, the resulting operating loss is expected to be smaller than consensus."Goes on to say Tuzistra sales are up 200% to 35,000 prescriptions (FY 2016 = 11,000) ... Perfect short this one ! Just need to time the close now ! Lurking on these beautiful trending stocks you can bet is where you can find me ! Its all I look out for 24/7 !! Just need the time to find more . These pharma stocks remind me of mining explorers ! once they reach peak euphoria the only way is usually down as time frames and chances of success are usually either over exaggerated or the timeframes too optimistic. Sadly the processes involved suck up loads of cash and investors with short time frames exit . All these Pharma and their equivalent mining explorers work in the same way . Sadly as I think these firms should be supported. But am a speculator after all.

Read Edison's note on Vernalis, out this morning on Research Tree: "The issue of 80m new shares at 50p/share has raised £40m (gross), which enables Vernalis to focus on executing its operational plan and removes uncertainty over whether it is sufficiently funded through to sustainable profitability in FY19 (on our new forecasts). Near-term investment into the commercial cough cold platform will underpin future sales growth. Ongoing initiatives to improve physician awareness, stocking and formulary coverage should increase Tuzistra’s XR market share in the longer term..."
