Questions for Investor Event Hi allI have registered my interest for the investor event and as long as there is a place for me still I will go.If anyone has any questions they would like asked please reply on this thread and I will make a list of them and try to ask them in the Q&A and post replies up here when I get back. Even better would be if they record the event and post it on their website which will save me making notes or taking a voice recorder with me. I'll ask Heather whether or not the event will be recorded so that all investors have an opportunity to see it.

Re: Investor Event if you go (I can't go), ask about the IntelWind project and the EU subsidies, activity of Squarerigger in US, Tip Top Rema in UK!

short term outlook some points - sorry for the long postMarket (and insiders) have a target price set for Sept 21st. Market maker is letting the SP to gradually rise towards that level (say e.g., 3.5p). If the SP rises to 3.5p by then, then on the 21st (barring some super RNS) you could have some drop due to profit taking. If on the other hand the SP remains at 3p, it could jump to 3.5-4 (overshoot) on 21st with a surprise contract etc - it's all to do with expectations and action towards this expectation. Why this activity now? It appears that new players are getting into the stock, some of these speculators (not always a bad thing as it increases liquidity and a way out for people who want to exit). Remember that this is the first time (ever, if not mistaken) the Co will give a presentation to analysts. It won't be for the Y/E results - we know these - 2mln TO, 1 mln losses. It will be for something significant, possibly a game changer (and this partly explains the rise now, before the release). If you are an analyst already invited, you will already be looking at the stock, maybe even talking to your clients about it (notice that almost every afternoon, just before the close, big chunks of shares are traded - these are not random PIs).At 2.4p, the market value is about 10 mln. Remember that 3 years ago the SP was 8p and the market value was 20 mln (because the market expected profitability a few months later). Instead, the price started dropping for some months (the insiders knew obviously) until we heard that cash was very low, and profitability was postponed.3 years later, we are approaching that point again (but also GE is on board). Also, Siemens (maybe, but a big Eur MNational anyway) has been co-producing since April with no RNS yet. To me this means that this big client wants things under wrap for important commercial reasons so it should be bigger than the GE deal - and more cash for TRT too. Maybe it will be announced on Sept 21st hence the presentation and all the buying by the new players. The target of 3p was "conservative" and excluded the big deals in the offing. Cash is enough for 2 years hence profitability (possible even next year). To conclude, the market is re-rating TRT so the SP is rising but I think it's good value even at 3p (even at 4p the market cap will be lower than it was 3 years ago).Anyway, we will know soon - just 16 trading days left to Sept 21st.

Re: Investor Event My two pennorth is worth exactly that: two pennorth. I am no expert on either this company or the technology. My contact says that TRT may well be over-engineering in order to create a niche for themselves. It may work, but it may not. I cannot see the mass take up of battery-less by manufacturers myself. I had a big chat with him about all this about a year ago. It put me off TRT to tell you the truth. As far as the company goes I am well behind here as I have not been through the figures for about nine months. It strikes me Jacko knows what he is at, so there MUST be an opportunity here. Good luck to all who are in, and I will stick this back on the watch list.

Re: Investor Event And Blanketstacker, do Schader have the edge on battery-less tech? The diversity and traction of TRT's product here leads me to wonder if it's not quite so clear cut. I would be interested to hear your views on that slice of the market.

Re: Investor Event Hi BlanketstackerI only have a small investment here, bought at 1.35p. There is clearly some value in the IP as demonstrated by the sale of intellisaw and the recent licence agreement with GE so if they don't make a success of things with the cash they now have hopefully they can sell the IP for at least the market cap.At least that's my theory.

Re: Investor Event all means go for the sarnies, but TRT are well behind Schrader in their field, and lack Schrader's resources to develop the products. This IS a growth field as the EU are bringing in compulsory TP monitors for HGVs, but I don't think this is the boy to see it through! (Friend's son works for Schrader as a designer, so very biased!)

Re: Share Price Movement I am not so sure Lensi because I remember many a time when the SP went up before results only to come crashing down again because of disappointment.

Lensl 24 Aug 2016

Share Price Movement Despite the market being quite poor the price of TRT has been strong. From past experience this always happens shortly before good announcements. It is clearly time to buy !

Re: GE's digital foundry in China & Pari... It's OK, TRT will still sell its sensors to everybody!

Chip_Scashtin 17 Aug 2016

Re: GE's digital foundry in China & Paris Pity we're not in Europe any more or GE might have opened up a foundry in Cambridge. And a pity our hi-tech firms won't have input into Europe's IoT standards, which will be tailored to suit Alcatel and Siemens. Sorry: that's my first and last whinge. Promise.

Re: recent trading "Analysts' presentation" on the 21st Sept, together with the results' release! This is the first time it will happen (or at least in a long time)...normally, you invite analysts when you have something important (and usually positive to say).1 month to go.

longtermBLVR 12 Aug 2016

recent trading The Market Maker (MM) absorbed 3mln of shares recently, without the SP dropping much. Normally, it would have based on recent history. Yesterday the SP rose on little volume and no news. It seems, IMHO, that the MM is accumulating stock and preparing the SP for another push up? I am speculating now but maybe positive news is near, maybe with the September results' release? Normally August is dead.We will see in the next few days on how the trend holds.

Re: not if, but how many sensors... Hopefully sooner rather than later, as the boost by the GE announcement seems to be fading almost instantly!! Hopefully the ARM reference is apposite (I added to my ARM holdings 3 mths ago, and whilst the Short term profit is useful - thanks very much! - I'm actually very saddened that the UK's ONLY wwide IT Technology leader is allowed to be taken out by a maverick Japanese Co with near 100 BN debt!). Lets dream that your ARM IPR camparison is good, and that the technology can be properly commercialised BY A UK BUSINESS!!
