Averaging down Yes I agree with the principle but I chased Marconi all the way down £5, £2, 50p, 10p and look where they are now! Any way not the case with Spirent quite a few Director buys recentley and I bought in again on the strength of this.

Re: Q3 IMS- Mixed Bought back in here 31/10/13 @ 112.72p ... Bad timing bottom draw job .I see they dropped to 65p 2015 and again 2016 volatile in between but shot up passing my buy now.In hindsight should of averaged down , others might of used stop loss and bought back in but would you ?Now 120p + 7.5 % .. think there's a yield.

Panmure's note on Spirent, it's up on Research Tree: "5G is not on the radar – well, it is and it isn’t. We think 5G commercial volumes kick off in 2020 and maybe Keystone nets some revenue at Keystone c2018 and possibly Spirent in later 2019 onwards (ie outside our forecast window). We are therefore somewhat surprised to see Sprint Inc announce 5G tests during the summer’s US Soccer-ball fest. With 4G grinding on and 5G being still at the definition stage the news reminds us that the march of technology is ever on-ward. As news filters through to the investor community, expect ..."

Directors buying Very good director buying of shares this week. Would seem to support the upward move and expectations. I bought (too high!) as a technology company and prospects now appear reasonable.
