our bidder is probably ... Anglo gold AshantiFrom their website...Growth and improvementThe production ramp up at Kibali will contribute additional ounces at a cost that is lower than the group average. The downturn in the gold price early in the year 2013 and the resultant emphasis on cost efficiency has led to the revision of mine plans and a cut-back in growth plans at many of the other operations in the region to enable the company to maximise cash flow even in a weaker gold price environment.Management continues to see exciting opportunities in Guinea as exploration work continues on the Kounkoun trend, one of three priority greenfield exploration targets[link]

less volume so far today... Looks like people have already taken their position regarding news next week. It may of course take a bit longer but the CEO has personally said he can maintain the funding and he has deep pockets! If he isn't selling then neither am I .Further to the announcement made by the Company on 28 September 2015 in relation to the exclusivity agreement entered into with a major third party until early October 2015, the Company announces that an extension has been granted to the exclusivity agreement until 23 October 2015, in order to attempt to finalise a formal agreement relating to the Company's Mandiana project. There can, at this time, be no guarantee that such an agreement will be entered into, a further announcement will be made in due course when the exclusivity period lapses or produces a formal agreement.

SBLM moving up. hugely undervalued...

dont be fooled... Forcing the drop on low volume. It will continue to rise. Have faith in the CEO. He has pulled it off before and knows what he is doing. Election is favourable so expect the signing complete early next week once the victory celebrations subside. The president is pro investment in mining and the country now has reliable power thanks to the Chinese hydro plant.

it just gets more compelling.. Mr. Condé, who was well in the lead with about 80 percent of the vote counted on Thursday, has won the support of many Guineans over the past five years. His first term included an overhaul of the powerful and unaccountable army he inherited from his predecessors, and a drive to bring some transparency to the country’s murky mining sector. His campaign was further aided by the recent completion of a Chinese-built hydroelectric dam, which has drastically improved the capital’s electricity supply and provided a tangible mark of progress for residents.“Electricity was the biggest problem here,” said Alpha Camara, a telecommunications technician, as he left a polling station in central Conakry, the capital, after casting his ballot for Mr. Condé. “Now businesses will start to invest here, and the future will be better.”During the campaign, Mr. Diallo focused heavily on attacking the government and electoral commission over the logistics of the election, and his vague promises of jobs for youths were not expected to win over enough voters outside his traditional ethnic Peul support base. With vast mineral wealth at stake, including what are thought to be the world’s largest undeveloped deposits of iron ore lying beneath the Simandou mountains in the remote and forested southeast of the country, the business community has been watching with interest.Full article here [link]

written 2 years ago... Mcap then 5 million without the drilling and hoping to find 500,000 oz resource initially, with projected mCap of 3 or 4 times this based on this amount ! Now with resource of 600,000 oz proven JORC in only 7% of target area, JV in the pipeline and political stability... The mind boggles as to where it should be. Investors put off by the rise shouldn't be. It was so low because of Ebola and no other reason. Before that it was around 3p. Its a multi bagger from here for all to see. Just open your eyes DYOR and hold with confidence. GL [link]

Conde almost certain to win election This is the crucial point to the major getting involved as the CEO has backed the current president. This will provide an important boost tomorrow and news will follow. I am sure its all but done pending the election decision.[link] around 80 percent of the vote counted after Sunday’s presidential election, poll results show Guinea’s President Alpha Condé is likely to win another term in office after one round of voting. Results from the West African country’s electoral commission showed the incumbent had more than 55 percent of the vote, Reuters reportedgoing to be another busy day tomorrow.

BOD and family paid a lot more.. They bought shares between 3p and 12p and thought it was good value then. Not many shares have been issued since then. Its been kept as a low cash burn outfit run by experienced CEO. Hold them tight and they will be worth a lot more IMO. GL whatever you decide. Some times its worth the risk !
