Re: Any impact from fund redemptions? There wont be fire sales as the open fund is suspended, Also I doubt that there will be correlation in the assets held across the 2 funds. Picked up some today at 68p Happy days!Stick them in the SIPP and forget about them

Any impact from fund redemptions? Does anyone know if Standard Life's investment trust and open-ended fund are investing in the same properties? If they are, any firesales by the open-ended fund could have a serious knock-on effect on the investment trust. Anyone know the answer?

Re: Now dropping below the NAV I'm watching with interest, but not tempted to buy more at the moment. My worry is that they have to sell property at low values.

Re: Now dropping below the NAV Now a double digit discount. An excellent entry point or topping up price. That's assuming you don't think the commercial property market in the UK is in for a prolonged slump. Thank goodness for closed end funds like this.

Re: Now dropping below the NAV Now 7.1% which looks pretty good long term to me. Better to be in the investment trust than the open ended fund. Sales suspended in that vehicle for the moment.

Now dropping below the NAV With this now at a 5% yield and falling below the NAV it is starting to look very attractive as a longer term hold.

Re: Dividend reduction I've got the tax back from II for the last dividend which was paid into my account on 24-08-2015. But I still haven't got the Tax from the previous dividend. I assume I get it now though.I hope there is no issue with the next dividend.

Re: Dividend reduction Hi PJ, well done you're persistence has elicited a better response from II than I and others have received. I wrote to the Fund Manager a few months ago pointing out this discrepancy as I was on the verge of selling because of it. I actually got a nice reply saying they'd look into it too, but I don't follow up as I he would be far too busy and it was my/our problem. Anyway, I decided not to sell and hopefully this will be resolved as SLI itself has been a great investment for me.

Re: Dividend reduction Hi Baylea,My understanding is that Interactive Investor make a monthly submission to HMRC for refunds of withheld tax and typically HMRC with pay within a couple of weeks. Therefore, I'd expect to see the refund of tax from the May dividend within the next couple of weeks (and possibly Augusts dividend as well). If we get to the end of September and I haven't seen a dividend, then I'll be getting back on the phone.Cheers,

Re: Dividend reduction PJ, You've done well to get them to understand. I was messaging them trying to reason with them, but was getting nowhere.Do you have any idea when the tax will be paid to us?

Re: Dividend reduction Hi PJ - if Halifax etc....can do it why not iii ? Not comforting

Re: Dividend reduction After several exchanges of e-mail/secure messages, I believe that Interactive Investor have finally realised that SLI has changed status from a normal IT to a REIT. You'll notice that your dividend from the previous quarter was re-entered on your account on the 14th July! They will be entering the claim to HMRC for the tax paid (they put in a claim for this type of thing on a monthly basis) and the tax will be refunded to your account when they get the money from HMRC.In the longer term, they will hopefully arrange with SLI to have the dividends paid gross.I'm deeply unimpressed with how much effort it took me to convince them they needed to do something!!!!I'm waiting for the tax paid to be credited ........Cheers,

Re: Dividend reduction Hi Baylea. Halifax paid out 1.1609 pence per share

baylea 26 Aug 2015

Re: Dividend reduction So the latest SLI dividend has had 20% tax taken by ii !?!?! I've sent them an email.
