this was a good share to buy if you had a great need to lose money fast.

I think TW was saying that Sefton was run by crooks and is bust.

SIFC how many of these shares do you own. How much money have you lost so far? I hope it is less than i have lost on this dire share.

Re: Refinancing Agreed? Sefton could not make money and later Hawker could n't get finance when Tapia oil was $100;now its around $60.Down 40%;but after fixed lifting costs and central overheads, depreciation bank interest etc. the margin is further decimated.Sub Zero with Seftons overheads. It is just possible that Hawker could salvage something if it gives more cash to the bank & the bank takes a haircut on its loan;BUT will it cut Sefton into the deal?I don't see how it can afford to pay Sefton anything, the cash flow is not there, perhaps a sliver of equity at best.Remember that Hawker also has security on Seftons Kansas operations;if it ends out of pocket at Tapia in any way.Although Kansas is of nominal value.Sefton has debts/costs at corporate & admin level and no obvious cash or cash flow.Agree pointless, probably, selling for most holders until/unless they need the tax loss to offset gains elsewhere.
