Re: Have I Overslept or What? Sorry Solid,I have no idea as to how much money is actually in the bank. All I know is that the statement says that on December 9th cash resources amounted to CAD$8.8.I doubt that any money will come our way in the foreseeable future. In an interview today with the C.E.O., Norman Williams, (www.brrmedia.co.uk/event/133193?popup=true) essentially all he talks of is advancing RMM into the leading miner, a long term player etc in the Canadian market and not a word about shareholder value. I think he must be from the planety Vulcan the dominant life-form of which has the traditional greeting to PIs of "Live Long and (you might) Prosper" .

Re: Have I Overslept or What? Many thanks, JS, but I'm not completely sure that I have underswtood correctly. From what you are saying, am I correct in understanding that the financial year 2015 began on 1st August 2014 and that the first quarter of 2015 ran from 1st August to 31st October 2014? I must say that I come across a geat deal of obfuscation in my job but on the face of it Accountants must have special training in it. Not only can they make 1+1=5 but at the same time make you think that what they actually said was C+A+T correctly spells DOG!

Re: Have I Overslept or What? year end is July so results are for the first quarter of the financial year to 31 July 2015 not the calendar year

Re: Have I Overslept or What? DocExpect a follow up RNS correcting, sloppy!! On a separate note do you know what our cash in the bank figure is? Probably time they handed over a small amount to shareholders

Have I Overslept or What? In the unaudited accounts for the Quarter ended 31st October 2014 released today, the accountants are giving us comparative information for the first Quarter of 2015.... "The net profit after tax for Q1/15 was $276,000 or $0.002 per share which compares with $1,974,000 or $0.014 per share for Q4/14 and $3,708,000 or $0.026 per share for Q1/14. The reduction in profits is due to the fall in accountable copper metal resulting largely from lower copper head grade in the quarter." I realise that accountants are devious beggars who will make 1+1=5 if that is what suits you but do they really have crystal balls to look into the future? Or am I missing something? Have I experienced a mild attack of the Rip van Winkle Syndome and slept over Christmas and New Year into April 2015 or should "Q1 2015" really be read as "Q1 2013"? If it is April 2015, are Blackpool still in the relegation zone?

Re: rns .... and to H*LL with the small investors!!Is the expectation that small P.I.s will eventually grow tried of watching management and employees exclusively reaping the rewards of the profit, which position our investment helped the company to reach, so that we cut our losses and run at the depressed SP allowing those with very deep pockets to cheaply increase (sorry, split infinitive) their stake in a profitable mine which will eventually start paying out when the big investors say so? (excuse the length of that sentence!)

rns What is positive is the age old mantra of "prolong the life of the mine".Regards KM

Re: Was the huge resource upgrade as per the RNS, a positive ?Can't work out if it is or not as nothing happened to the share price.Copper down a little bit but some of that is down to the dollar strengthening. Gold not doing too badly though.Potential share buybacks, resource upgrades, what is it going to take to have some effect ??

solid7 02 Dec 2014

89,000 shares bought today, 3000 sold...and guess what ...the share price hasn't moved a whisker....don't understand this one but hope that Henderson know what they are doing

Re: Another 2 million for Henderson I suppose every million pounds would enable Rambler to buy back roughly 4 million shares seeing as it doesn't move when there's someone buying big... How long would it take for them to buy back every share with the cash flow they're clearing ?

thehickster 27 Nov 2014

Re: Another 2 million for Henderson Does make you wonder.Try putting in a buy order for 2 million or so and see what happens.Where would they get them from ??

Chard Nick 27 Nov 2014

Re: Another 2 million for Henderson So how the dickens can Henderson buy another 2m shares without increasing the SP?Did anyone see the trades go through? Something doesn't smell right to me.As I've said before, I don't think the SP will increase significantly until Henderson are looking to sell...CNPS - It makes you wonder if the possible share buy-back will increase the SP at all!

thehickster 26 Nov 2014

Another 2 million for Henderson At least that's what it looks like. Not just us little PIs that think Rambler is a bit cheap then..

AGM Dec 4th Why not raise all the questions here on the bulletin board at the AGM on Dec 4th at the offices of Cantor Fitzgerald in Canary Wharf?

Re: can anyone give me a good reason I think I am going to half my holding and pursue opportunities elsewhere. That way I still have a stake and a chance to recoup the cash but not sitting here with my thumb somewhere uncomfortable.
