Re: looks like Product development is always shrouded in mystery in this business. However you can get a heads up from this site.[link] posts every month all the MAs granted the previous month.Look for Colonis under 'MA Holder' column.

Re: looks like Thanks for the post carlosalberto.Hopefully we will see some news soon.. I just wish they would engage shareholders a little more. I.E products coming to market.. Rather than waiting until results to release the status of these. What I have learnt from other aim shares I have held is that the price tends to drift lower on lack of news flow .Personally I would have thought that the more information they pass onto shareholders the better for everyone concerned.

Re: looks like I'll keep you company 'up p' .I hold a good number of these, bought when they crashed into the 30s,on the back of the closing of the Burnopfield facility. This was a clever move, in that although there was a one off hit of closure costs,it was my understanding that a lot of competition had their products manufactured there also, with the outcome of more business for QP in the short term, while the opposition scrambled around to find alternative specials manufacturers. So given that it didn't actually shut until January, we should see the results in H1 figures in 3 months time. Also their push to submit Specials products for full Marketing Authorisations is another good business move, in that once you gain an MA, all the prescriptions for that product have to go to the licenced product. Again squeezing out the competition. This all takes time and money in order to get the full dossier ready to submit, but generally once submitted to the authorities takes about 9 - 12 months to get an MA.Plus in the last qtr of 16 they gained MAs for some regular generic liquids ( Folic Acid, Levothyroxine and Gabapentin ) but with limited competition these should add £ 2-3 million to the bottom line.So all in all I am pretty confident the results will show improvement come the autumn, but the game changer will be success of those Specials to MAs.

looks like Looks like this has run out of steam. Personally I thought this would hold at the 60 p level, but having reread the last set of results I am not as positive now.Sterling weakness against the euro is going to hit them.. Also there doesn't ever seem to be any type of updates apart from results.. I am sure as any investor appreciates this is bad news for a share price.INMO not one to hold for the medium term.. Maybe worth it for the term though, but with lack of news and more importantly no dividend on the horizon I can only see this drifting down to the 40p level.. Lets hope the trading update is positive.. Has anyone any views on this either way

Results INMO a good set of results. They clearly show a new focussed company.Very interesting sales today.. A major shareholder has either reduced or sold their entire holding..Hopefully an existing holder has taken them up.I previously held Cyprotex which is why I have invested here.. Harwood was directly behind in helping to transform Cyprotex before their demise. The difference here is that they have purchased a large block of shares without convertables/loan notes attached.Hopefully no loan notes will be issued to expand the company in the future.. If that is the case then we could be looking at a share price increasing in a relatively short space of time.

spread better alert Looks like some spiv has been shorting the stock today judging by the sales of 40,000 shares. The results should be interesting . So long as Nu pharm losses ended when the plant was closed. I have tried to calculate going forward as to what revenue we can expect for the coming year. Here are my estimates.Providing existing sales continue as they are( six months )Previous profit 1 million. So we should be able to add the following0.7 million not utalised by Nupharm0.5 million added from no losses from Nupharm0.6 million added from reduction in servicing debt0.3 million added from Bromide. The company will have 100% of market share as the product is licensed (NHS estimates 1.2 million per annun)So in crude terms the current financial year should see operating profit of over six million. ( This is of course not allowing for one off charges re Nupharm.)On that basis surely the stock should be trading at a level reflecting a market cap of 90 million plus.

Roadshow Quantum have been having an investor road show during the past couple of days.. I picked this up from the ADVFN website.A bit worrying really as share volumne of trades are practically zero.. Did anyone bother turning up to these road-shows.. It seems they have been bored to death.Or alternatively no investor appeared.More of a concern is that someone has offloaded over a million shares before the roadshow.

Trading Update Looks like the trading update is about to land.. My guess is for tomorrow morning.. Judging by todays drop I don't expect it to make pleasant reading. They have pre warned us that the results will be materially effected for the past six months.. The big question is by how much.Personally what I am looking for is growth in their key products together with new products in the pipeline.. Big leason learnt from this is not to invest until after a trading update.. What has clouded this is that the new CFO purchased shares just before taking up his position. INMO these should have been purchased after the forthcoming trading announcement.. For all we know is that he has subsequently sold them the day before taking up his new position

Re: What the thanks for that amygdaleThe reason I have become interested is that I recently held Cyprotex for a number of years.. Three years ago they raised funds through Harwood and Trident.. At the time I was against it as it was via loan notes and convertables. The stock inmo was held back considerably due to this.Having said that I did make a decent profit in the end. What is interesting this time is that Harwood has taken stock up via a placing. So hopefully the shares could be in for a good run as there would be nothing to hold the shares back. Also Harwood does have a good track record even if PIs don't always benefit as much as they do.The new CFO has also purchased 200,000 shares before taking up his position. Which should also be a good sign. A trading update is due shortly which could make interesting reading either way

Re: What the I don't follow them closely but have owned some. My understanding: Niche/specials pharma. IPO around 18 months ago at 100p. Shares went up but then they failed to deliver on their promises and price dropped, CEO resigned. Further woe and major drop in October when they said performance will be materially below market expectations. They then raised more funds at 34p and there's been a small rise since then. Personally I liked the story but they don't seem to be well managed. I ducked out with a loss at the end of last year. Maybe they'll turn it around and start delivering but the recent history isn't promising...

Re: Unlikely but not impossible - fund r... You are a better man than me CDI. You saw this coming, and all power to you for it! It seems the creditors have taken over, but that should be no bad thing. We have been diluted, but now we have a company in very experienced management hands. I am still happy to be here. The potential has returned.

Re: Unlikely but not impossible - fund raisi... Rights issue perhaps.Certainly interesting but the debt is a drag and will stifle growth & one way or another it will cost shareholders so care needed. Possible divi impact? It may be less risky to wait until it is addressed and/or some signs of price having some upward momentum.Good luck holders.
