Re: LOL The damage was done before the new CEO came in, this company must have wasted a couple of hundred million on botched up exploration but the keystone cop syndrome has sadly been ingrained in its make up. the only thing that can save this now is the Western Oz project. if there is nothing there this lot will find it.work that one out.

Re: LOL Nothing about this lot makes me chuckle. Which is surprising as they seem to have a lot of clowns from the CEO downwards.

LOL The option price for the cancelled options always makes me chuckle.

Re: Todays Oilex presentation so when is this share going to hit £4.00

Joatmon 30 Jan 2017

Todays Oilex presentation The presentation is pretty much as expected and the furture is dependent on the aquisition (or not) of the additonal 55% in Cambay from GSPC. It could be advantageous to Oilex and the PI's if a third party with deeper pockest acquires the 55% and becomes apartner of Oilex in Cambay. I beleive the Cambay gas asset is attractive and withing reach with improved finance and extension approval - the trick is funding a proper initial development program.

Re: Oilex tenders for additional 55% of ... Only time will tell here but given the difficulty OEX have had in getting back the money owed without majority control on where they drill and the programme of work.OEX will have much greater incentive to make a great success of the next couple of wells with 100% of the returns as an incentive. But, this is likely to be the last chance of OEX success in Cambay. Technical or operation failures will likely finish the company.Canning Basin will need a farm-in partner - which will need a much higher price of oil and some stability in the market. I will HOLD for now as the new senior management seem more professional.

Re: Oilex tenders for additional 55% of Camb... If it is so good Why does GSPC want to get rid of it ?????,and if Oilex are successful in bidding for it,, did any one else want it????.I can not see anything positive in this at all.Unless Oilex have been deliberately making a complete codswallop of it all , Knowing all the while it is a gold mine and trying to hoodwink GSPC out of it.now that would be clever.

Joatmon 13 Dec 2016

Oilex tenders for additional 55% of Cambay I view todays announcement (see below) as a positive for Cambay's potential and Oilex."Oilex tenders for additional 55% interest in Cambay PSCOilex Ltd (the Company) is pleased to advise that it has participated in a formal tender process submitting a conditional offer for an additional 55% interest in the Cambay PSC (Cambay). Oilex has submitted the offer in response to a competitive bid process initiated by Gujarat StatePetroleum Corporation Limited (GSPC) for the possible disposal of its interest in Cambay. If successful in the tender process, Oilex would increase its current 45% interest to 100% of Cambay."

Re: Oilex - a monster frac for Cambay ma... The sand is in suspension in water as the fluid for fracking - you need lots of both and high pressure pumping equipment. A possible plan for later at Cambay I would imagine - if the proposed vertical well data proves positive.
