don't forget mwa is in AIM, at 1.85p is cheap but it can get even cheaper

dotlink 16 Dec 2014

sp looking like it heading to 1.5p and if gold and nickel go lower then 1.1p is possible, mwa is always like one step forward 2 steps back just like the smelter upgrade, they say its should complete by summer next summer but it could be next christmas 2015

dotlink 15 Dec 2014

want sp to rocket wait until smelter comes online and thats in 6 months time which is summer next year and if nickel price at 20000 that would help too

dotlink 13 Dec 2014

yesterday half of all gold shares like ama, pog, gdp, mirl etc are down, and mwa is lucky to be on the up side

dotlink 13 Dec 2014

costs has gone up compared to last quarter like the all in sustaining costs for producing gold that has gone up, was expecting less than 1000 this quarter

Re: closed office in the UK They were 2% over the target for costs mid way through the year so they have done well so far to squeeze more from less. Reducing the London exposure will certainly help and really MWA do not need to be in London now. They are comfortably in profit, have the capital requirements covered and will not be troubling the AIM for anything at these levels. The can run PR from Southern Africa, the financial side of the business is now relocated from London to South Africa. The next 12 months has much to offer. The restart of the Smelter and possibly the refinery (Kalaa mentioned them both under the same restart heading in the webcast). The impact of the reduction in transport costs and penaties. The 3rd mill at Freda Rebecca. The impact of the new equipment at both mines. Going back underground at Klipspringer and the doubling of production from the slimes. The drill results from Katanga have potential to produce something quite exciting and we will get the result of the feasibility study at ZK.The current noise in the chart is unwelcome but not really surprising.

Re: closed office in the UK One thing you have to give the new FD credit for is his cost control. Since he has come in it looks like savings have been made in every department. It easy to underestimate the value of this new culture because the company was burning through cash with remuneration spiralling out of control.Shareholders would be wise to pay as much attention to this aspect as they do to commodity prices. Consolidating a base in Zim/SA makes much sense and let's hope management can drive down costs even further.HF

should we be worried about grace www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2870376/Nicholas-van-Hoogstraten-bankrolls-Grace-Mugabe-s-bid-power-Zimbabwe.html oh btw i am invested in here averaging 2.4p

Re: closed office in the UK One new change is where"meet the miners" was hosted. There is really no need for a U.K. footprint. They will not be raising cash from the market. Kalaa and the board are mainly based in Southern Africa. Costs of maintaining a African office will be tiny against a London office. Bindura , Trojan and Freda Rebecca are outside the same town so it makes sense to be there. Looks like a big sell through late yesterday has been holding things back.Nickel is looking resilient again today. I doubt we will have to wait much longer for 20000 a ton again.

dotlink 12 Dec 2014

sp will continue to fall as smelter is still in progress until middle of next year

dotlink 12 Dec 2014

no wonder sp dropped 20% and people are still selling, looking for 1.5p by end of next week
