Re: MMs HF - Probably the most relevant post I have seen relating to this share in a long while. It deserves a rational response but I fear that there are too many entrenched opinions to help us to get to the bottom of this. If the know-alls were as clever as they make out they most likely would not have time to spend here and on other boards.

sp going down, if sp reaches 3p then rsi will be over 70 and i bet there alot of you will have sells set at 3p

MMs For those who have first-hand knowledge of MMs and how they operate, especially in relation to AIM shares such as MWA, could you please enlighten the rest of us. There are so many conflicting opinions it's hard to know who to believe what is their full impact. For example, to what degree are they responsible for dragging MWA from 3.8p to 1.8p since August and how can one tell? How much of this is down to 'real' selling and how much is it because of MMs?HF

Re: Randgold I suspect they would rather JV than sell. The feasibility study is approaching completion however it will be focused towards low capex quick start scenarios which may not interest Randgold. They do already operate in DRC which is possibly more risky than Zimbabwe so I see no sense in thinking MWA should be at some mythical discount. The biggest risk is commodity prices and profit margins; the company are working hard on the costs and winning that battle

Re: defensive play by Market makers Vincent.Do not know who your broker is, but I have just been quoted 2.565 to sell 150,000 and exactly the same price for 500,000 sell. Suggest you do some research on brokers.

Re: Randgold (PEG comparison) Randgold EPS growth at 15% combined with P/E at 24.5 MWA EPS growth at > 30% with P/E at 49 ??..................!!Even a P/E of 12 would make MWA seem dirt-cheap next to Randgold, even when applying Zim and other discounts.I don't think MWA will ever let go of ZK-LM, they would likely partner development instead. After all, that's how Randgold started and grew into what it is today. Moreover, further exploration could well reveal double the present 3m YCR according to their own engineers.

Re: defensive play by Market makers appreciate this kind of feedback but just try to sell 150.000 shares at 2.5p ( current bid price on L2 ) and you will se that you will never get this bid price as Market makers will lower bid asap, anyway GLA

Re: defensive play by Market makers Vincent,Some of the stuff you post is helpful, but your posts on how the "city" works, really isboll@cks, I spent a great deal of time there, as do some of my pals still, best stick to what you know.

Re: Randgold Going forward, in my opinion, any substantial project that is near feasibility (an extensive outside engineering report based usually on tens of millions of dollars of geological, metallurgical, and engineering work) could be a buy-out candidate for major and mid-tier companies that need to catch up on reserve replacement and growth.I wonder if ZK is already in that stage ?Anyway as i explained in the past todays in ground gold resources without indepth studies as described in above always get 20US$ - 50US$ per oz in a take over bidimo

Baron83 27 Nov 2014

Re: Randgold Once the feasibility study on ZK is made available, it certainly opens things up.
