Shareholder benefit scheme? Majestic could do well to think about bringing in a shareholder discount/benefit scheme. It might generally improve sentiment, and specifically would shift a group of people from the supermarkets and into their shops instead.

Re: NEW ARTICLE: Majestic Wine victim of... A major disappointment for me. Estate planning is an increasing concern for me (aged 72). Holdings of AIM shares don't count fot estate purposes provided you have held them for at least two years and the company pays business rates. With an excellent dividend (now at risk?), Majestic was a prime candidate.No longer? Or not til the sp has declined further?

Re: NEW ARTICLE: Majestic Wine victim of pri... As a regular shopper with them I have been watching this for some time but am not surprised at them being caught up in the supermarkets price wars. It seems that lower prices may be here to stay which is great as a customer but will do nothing for profitability.Add to that a CEO who apparently thinks lowering prices is an "investment" and I think any investment in these shares will need to see a much lower SP firstDeep
