Re: Volatility I got some bought back at 734p.Didn't dip to 720p.I don't think IG will be off to races yet though.It will be held by UK and EU regulatory cloud.When that is cleared market will focus on what earnings will be under new regulations. We do have though US licence pending which in the long term could be huge game changer. Add to that the fact that some small players will be cheap to acquire under the new regulations, some of them will fold. The big will survive.So I'm not expecting IG to jump higher anytime soon but long-term this is a big buy. So I'm thinking of dosing off trading this now and just take the dividends when they come.

Re: Volatility Yep. I must admit I sold a bit at 784p after a year of gains.But looking to buy some tomorrow. Might get a chance for some more closer to 720p I recon. This new volatility is too good for IG.

Volatility If Volatility returns to the markets earnings here could do very well and blow the new regulation out of the water.

Re: Up around 300p !! That was Fred Prior. I'm still in this. July 201 'Top up' post had a target of £8+ and here we are now. I might call it quits and take the money even though IG has been pretty good to me since I bought them.

Up around 300p !! Funny as post that big gap down we had that chap telling us it was going to zero ..... I gave my analysis and 4 trades and left the share price do the talking . Left the BB to return almost a year later 
Average locked in after my signature 4 trades and happy to let the trend take care of itself I can't recall the chap's nickname but happy to buy you a beer mate . Beers are on me don't worry I posted the £ per point too . 300 points * £400 ! Not bad Minus interest My mistake was not to add more on that June breakout

Re: Record revenue Yes as soon as it ploughed through £8 there must have been a few waiting to sell,but it should eventually go through and stay above £8 with these results over the next week or so in my opinion.

Re: Record revenue Sell the news brigade is back.But it's not a surprise after a year of gains to get that.800p is also when it fell from. So there will be resistance here.It will fail but I suspect not yet.

Re: Record revenue Wow really impressed with these results, although they are not happy about regulation it does seem it's not going to effect the business to much and they said the business will grow even with the new measures in place.

Record revenue Excellent results. Increased dividend, profits up another 10%, company swimming in cash. Does it take about £16 per share to get to ftse 100? I'm getting ahead of myself now but that could be possible within 2-3 years.
