Brexit Wars 3 A. C. Grayling (No relation to Chris) Britain’s greatest living Philosopher: “The British government is at war with the British people. It is threatening disaster by imposing severe sanctions on the economy, shredding rights, and handing over the populace, bound hand and foot, to predators whose only interest is off-shore profiteering.” Just as some of have been saying here for ages. IMHO, SBK

Brexit Wars 3 It’s McBride’s own fault… why didn’t they change their business model to growing turnips?

Sir_Buns-Up_Knealing 24 Feb 2020

Brexit Wars 3 Yep JAR, adapt to survive alright: Barrow - for the 1st time in over 30 years - voted for Boris Johnson & the Conservatives in order to get Brexit done at the last election. McBride to closes its factory (household cleaning products) there in order to transfer production to the EU in order to survive Brexit, with the loss of 106 jobs. this summer. In Cumbria McBride confirm Barrow factory closure at a cost of 106 jobs Household cleaning products firm McBride has confirmed its Barrow factory will shut down in the summer at a cost of 106 jobs And jobs are scare in Cumbria. Doh! IMHO, SBK

Brexit Wars 3 SBHUA Sir_Buns-Up_Knealing: An excellent argument for being in the world’s largest economy and reading bloc! But it’s a ‘ponzi scheme’ and will only last as long as Germany and the other net contributors fund it. JAR

Brexit Wars 3 john.a.reeves: They are relatively ‘underdeveloped’, get investment and growth whilst the ‘developed’ countries get a bigger internal market and lower labour costs. A win- win then according to you. An excellent argument for being in the world’s largest economy and reading bloc! IMHO, SBK

Brexit Wars 3 HJ HuwJarse: small under developed economies growing faster than very large, mature, established ones Of course they do - that’s why they join FFS They are relatively ‘underdeveloped’, get investment and growth whilst the ‘developed’ countries get a bigger internal market and lower labour costs. Seems the the EU Ultras are really thick after all they’ve told us JAR

Brexit Wars 3 Meanwhile…Liar Johnson has been in post for 2 months and has already taken 20 days holiday, including the last 10…so far. Must be a cracking wine cellar at Chevening I guess. IMHO, SBK

Sir_Buns-Up_Knealing 24 Feb 2020

Brexit Wars 3 petethenovice: A Leave-voting business owner has said he regrets the decision because his fruit farms will collapse if he has no access to EU workers after Brexit. All pro Brexit businesses should be boycotted by Rejoiners. Just like what I have been doing since June 2016. Bankrupt the lot of them. IMHO, SBK

HuwJarse 24 Feb 2020

Brexit Wars 3 Sir_Buns-Up_Knealing: “A level” textbook crap. The USA and China are doing rather better than most under developed countries no? There is no such thing as “mature” economies, all economies are subject to constant change - up or down. The UK’s is going to go DOWN because of Brexit numpties. The US is running a deficit of over 1 trillion dollars a year and have just enacted the most profligate monetary stimulus you will ever see. Despite throwing money at the economy during a period of expansion their growth is slowing. Chinese growth has been running at ridiculously high levels because they were an under developed economy. It is slowing year on year despite all the empty cities they’ve built and their giant shadow banking bubble. China cannot and will not sustain its current levels of growth.

Sir_Buns-Up_Knealing 24 Feb 2020

Brexit Wars 3 HuwJarse: If you honestly don’t know the answer to the question “why are small under developed economies growing faster than very large, mature, established ones” you probably shouldn’t engage in discussions about economics Buns. “A level” textbook crap. The USA and China are doing rather better than most under developed countries no? There is no such thing as “mature” economies, all economies are subject to constant change - up or down. The UK’s is going to go DOWN because of Brexit numpties. IMHO, SBK
