Nick Train Interesting in this September update on the Finsbury Growth Fund, that he has seen the Spirit acquisition as a possible mistake and one of the biggest factors in it's sharp fall of late.He also admits to not having invested much in it and indeed letting it decline relatively in his fund and it now stands at 0.8%He is mulling over whether to add to the holding and will provide an update on this at a later date :-[link] - not one of my better decisions it seems,Although I went to Loch Fyne last wednesday and it was full to the brim with punters trying out the new menu, went to an Old English Inn on Friday night and the food was great and the pub was pretty busy also.

Re: Vouchers stopped. No problems with Hargreaves. Why not send AJ Bell et al a stamped addressed envelope and all they have to do is pop the vouchers into that and post.If they can't do that ,there is not much customer service there...

Re: Follow up response - Vouchers I would reiterate what Old Eyes posted regarding I-Web.They were very helpful in making sure I received my vouchers. When I originally queried via their on line chat why I didn't get any they said it was because I hadn't registered for Shareholder Benefits when I opened my I-Web account (18 years ago!). But they changed the setting for me and said they would get some vouchers for me, and these arrived 2 days later. Very good service from them.I am in the process of moving all my wife's Cash ISA's over to I-Web to provide an ISA portfolio paying a decent income.Cheers,

Panmure note out this morning on research tree.. "Greene King reported full year results ahead of expectations, with Sales £2,073m and adj PBT of £256.5m (PGe £249m) to give EPS of 69.9p (PGe 66.9p) and DPS of 32.05p (4.2% yield) – with the beat largely driven by cost savings from the integration of Spirit (£16.7m versus £12m). The company has had a strong start to the year (LFL +2.8%) but mentions likely short term Brexit impact on consumer confidence."

Panmure note out on research tree.. "Greene King will release FY16 results (52 weeks to 01 May 2016) on Wednesday – the first leisure company to report post the referendum with its outlook statement likely to have implications for the wider sector. Like all consumer discretionary businesses, Greene King is vulnerable to a downturn in consumer confidence/spending; however, its freehold backing, low rent roll and selfhelp/integration initiatives make it less operationally geared than most of its peers."
