Re: ShareCrazy - Sophos? Come on? Please if you want to speak to someone about Foxtons, Countrywide, Mothercare, Serco, Majestic Wine, British American Tobbaco and AO World call the Samaritans.Don't do it on the FLX board.

Re: ShareCrazy - Sophos? Come on? PS I am short: Foxtons, Countrywide, Mothercare, Serco, Majestic Wine, British American Tobbaco and AO World.

IAmShareCrazy 21 Aug 2017

Re: ShareCrazy - Sophos? Come on? Another delusional message. Sit down in a dark room until you feel better. Until this company backs up any hype with contracts in an RNS it's where it is for a reason. Wake up before it's too late. I am neither short or long anymore but hate to see people not getting it. Ripley94 and Disorder are similar.

Re: Welcome jump in the sp It appears that there has been a hot tip.I'm ashamed to say that I looked at another chat board, one that I regard as full of windbags and shysters, but I picked this up -"Anyhow the word on the street is that the news drought is almost over. The shares are on a fundamental basis very cheap indeed. And if you can buy at 6p or less do so – the target to sell is 9p+".I see 9p as the figure for those after a quick profit. It may be a little too early to say this, but I see good sales figures sending the sp much higher than that. That is for the longer term, but I hope for another good run as we had a few years back when, due to the jump in the FLX share price, I had to pay CGT.

Welcome jump in the sp Nice little jump in the sp today. Anyone know of a reason, any news or a tip sheet gave it a mention?

Re: ShareCrazy - Sophos? Come on? Take note everyone, if you want to speak about Falanx call the Samaritans. Mr Share Crazy doesn't want anyone coming on here talking about Falanx. Any suggestions on what the new topic for this board should be? Let's vote on it.FYI Mr Share Crazy, this is a discussion board about Falanx. When I posted "they have just seen a massive increase in business and have had to take on a lot of new staff and they sound confident about sales continuing to grow" you replied with "Lets see the numbers then!!!!!!" - indicating that you made your sell recommendation without knowing what the numbers were. You asked "why should they choose Falanx over Sophos?". You don't seem aware of the very different nature of the two businesses and yet you, again, post a sell recommendation.Backing up your comments with six exclamation marks is no substitute for facts, evidence and reasoned debate.I could give other examples of Mr Share crazy's vapid comments, but I don't need to, as his latest post reveals his true nature. He likes to make points, but fails to give a straight answer to any questions. It feels like debating with Alf Garnett - for those who don't know, he was a bigotted windbag. You, IAmShareCrazy, think I am naive and not very intelligent for taking notice of the statements from the company - who should I take notice of - you, who fails to give a straight answer to any questions?I am well aware there has been no RNS, but my point is that they seem to be growing and I expect good news to come soon.I am well aware that some of the statements from the company are forward looking statements with an optimistic tone. Here are two examples, extracts from an RNS -"The market conditions for growth of Cyber Security and Intelligence for the new year are extremely favourable."and -"Therefore, it is our belief we will continue to grow, and over time, become a highly credible contender to larger vendors."There we are - I can see that such comments are hopeful and come without a guarantee, so I am not naive, but they are optimistic for future growth, and of course they are - show me a company director who doesn't say positive things about his company, but are you saying that I shouldn't believe what they say in their RNS announcements and video interviews when facts are stated? This is from an RNS - "FCD has grown revenue and customers significantly this year. In May 2016, FCD held 6 clients and 3 channels; all retained, generating circa £40k per month in consulting revenue. March 2017, FCD had expanded to 29 customers and doubled Assess and Consult revenue. This resulted in the Falanx Cyber Defence division generating 300% growth and almost £1m in the 11 months from ASC acquisition up to 31 March 2017. Sales growth is being driven by the newly formed Sales and Consultancy team and by a strong focus on Channel Partnerships."Are you saying that I am naive and not very intelligent for believing it? I see the fact that they are currently recruiting security people as a sign that the business is growing - am I stupid to think that? You make unsupported comments, you dodge questions, you appear to not know the difference between Sophos' business and Falanx's and I take your latest posting to be an obvious attempt to cover your embarrassment now that your ignorance has been exposed.

Re: ShareCrazy - Sophos? Come on? Please if you want someone to speak about Falanx call the Samaritans. There has been no RNS regarding any new contracts so everyone can go back to sleep. You seem very naive about everything you hear from the company which is not very intelligent.

ShareCrazy - Sophos? Come on? Dear Mr Share Crazy,Do you know what Falanx does? Judging by your question about Sophos,I think you do not.I've taken a quick look at their web site and unless I missed something, there is no comparison between Sophos and Falanx. Yes, they may both be in computer security but a manufacturer of MRI scanners is in the healthcare sector and so is a company that makes aspirin tablets - but you wouldn't compare the two businesses.Feel free to refute my analogy. Should you fail to do so, I think you risk getting a reputation on this board as merely an opinionated windbag. Please don't let that happen - tell me what I've missed about Sophos.

A dent in my confidence Stuart Bladen interview from May 2017 just after the ransomware attack."Falanx Group grows 50% year-on-year, defends NHS"[link] 20s - the Wannacry attack.2m 25s - Falanx does business in "significant parts of the NHS".My thought was, "Oh no, Falanx has contracts with the NHS - did the Falanx defences let the ransomware attack get through so will they lose contracts?"I would have liked more information on what exactly Falanx does for those "significant parts of the NHS" and did any of their defences fail, but there was no such information given. At 8 minutes, he says a bit more about the NHS and there are two documents on the Falanx web site.I did a search using "wannacry ransomware attack site:[link] Report: WannaCry Attack"[link] Abbott: Don’t attack the NHS!"[link] must say that this has put me off Falanx a little.IAmShareCrazy, does this convince you that I am not a paid Falanx stooge. I weigh up all facts in order to form conclusions and make investment decisions and if someone has an opposing view to mine, I do listen, but I can take opposing views more seriously if they are supported with information and reasoning for coming to that opinion. It may have put me off a bit, but not enough to sell any of my holding, and, currently, the sp is on the way up so hopefully this is the start of the bounce back to 10p and upwards.

Thomas Tallis 18 Aug 2017

Back to front? How so? "paid by Falanx", that's a bit naughty, but I'll take it as a compliment that you thought my posts are so well written that I must be a paid, professional writer financial analyst. Thank you.You tell me that I've got it back to front, but you don't say which of my points make you say that - about Hollis, about Bladen, about the growth in clients from 6 to 29? Please tell me what I have said that is back to front. Also, you had asked "why should they choose Falanx over Sophos?" I know I could look at the Sophos web site to see what they do, but I don't have time to go into it in any depth so I might miss some of the reasons, therefore, may I again ask if you would kindly inform us of why they should choose Sophos over Falanx? We have different opinions on the future for Falanx, and good luck to you too however it turns out (a trading update might soon give us some guidance on how it's going), but didn't my points help you to see things about FLX that you had missed and to now see it as an attractive investment?I am not in this to lose money and I value all information that might help me to avoid mistakes, so would you please provide more information so that I, and other readers, might understand your reasons for your viewpoint.

IAmShareCrazy 17 Aug 2017

Re: Chunky contracts to come? You sound like you've been paid by Falanx to say all that! Good luck with you investment strategy, but it's back to front.

IAmShareCrazy 15 Aug 2017

Re: How low down, how soon up? I was invested in this based on technicals, not fundementals. I don't think you're getting it. There are many companies in the marketplace why should they choose Falanx over Sophos?

Thomas Tallis 15 Aug 2017

How low down, how soon up? I normally ignore sites that give "hot" tips, but I agree with this opinion that the price is too low and that it will soon change for the better. However, just because it is too low right now doesn't mean that it can't go any lower and also, I wouldn't like to define "soon"."Falanx - upgrade stance to BUY, share price decline baseless"[link] am not endorsing this site. I make no recommendation as I know nothing about this site nor the track record of the author of the piece. I own shares in Falanx.

Re: Cyber security market The information is on their website (best to get it from the horse's mouth rather than second hand from me) and in the Stuart Bladen interviews. In previous posts, I posted the links for your convenience. My opinion - the market is growing and FLX has a good team at the helm to capture business. This is one to watch over the next six months to a year.
