Re: The company and the open offer Bit surprised the open offer had 26% take up @ 1p RNS 9th May.... seeing you can buy @ 0.9 apparentlyMight of been tempted if was not so overweight in this..It was all passed @ special meeting on 12 May.

Re: The company and the open offer The ex-entilement date for open offer was 26th may ( so the ones i repurchased on that day not entitled to rights ) closes @ 3pm ( D ) can buy at same price of 1p .. interesting to see what take up will be.It wasnot worth messing with primary bid on this one. Do not like way they got involved .

Re: Why buy in the offer I looked at doing this, but the commission made it cost more?

Re: The company and the open offer Been informed flowgroup placing shares are not entitled to partake in the open offer.wonder if that applies to all the placed shares or just the ones via primary bid.As OG999 points out makes no difference with this one as you can get them for same price on market.

OG999 05 Jun 2017

Why buy in the offer I must be missing something here, forgive me! Why buy in the open offer at £1 when you can buy them at this level already and they are still dropping?

Re: The company and the open offer Taking up my basic offer – boiler business is dead, so just an energy supply company now. With 250,000 or so customers the market cap is cheap (before the offer) compared with some energy companies with much fewer customers. So may be a chance of recovering losses. A gamble though.

bertie20 02 Jun 2017

Re: The company and the open offer ukm.Your money. Your choice. The boiler was a non-starter once the feed in tariff disappeared.. Whose to say they will make a better job as a gas provider. I am assuming their huge increase in customers is down to the boiler ambassadors efforts etc. What part they may play in future I don't know.Having said that, they are "?which" recommended. Having done a price comparison on my energy bill I see they are not giving the stuff away at silly prices.I am taking up my basic entitlement plus some of the excess, on the basis that I am already in deeper than I would like to be, so the idea of a bit more money going down the drain is only moderately depressing.Your money. Your choice. Good luck whatever you decide.Bertie.

Re: The company and the open offer Is anybody taking the open offer. It's either a night out on the town or take the offer and pray for 2 night outs in the future. Not sure what to do.Cheers

Re: The company and the open offer Thanks Artji.I had thought the primary bid offer was a chance for 'small fry' to get in at same price as institutions. And Tom Winnifrith seems to reinforce that view on his well followed blog.Nothing secret about fund raise at all it would of been the talk of the pubs around the city and other pubs were brokers hang out .

Artji 27 May 2017

Re: The company and the open offer "not exclusive to primary bid"Whatever made you think it was? About 63.7m shares were sold on primary bid. Around 345m will be hopefully sold through the open offer, and 952.5m are being issued in the placing. The primary bid part of the fund raising was very minor. Then there's the convertible loan notes. If they're eventually converted that will be another 1.63 billion shares being issued.

Re: The company and the open offer Got a call informing me that Cornhill were involved with the placing bringing clients inside last week ?so not exclusive to primary bid and news / rummer would of been about ?Brought yesterdays deals again same buy price. more confident today in it.
