Re: This is money KK - Yes m8 -- It's a long term hold. It's only 0.6% of my wad, but it stays there in case it becomes the next Ted Baker.Ganes

Re: astonishing news from burberry.... valeite, BRBY is 4.12% of my wad and my stand out best performer in the last 6-12 months.I do like companies with 100 year history and £500 Million in the bank.Games

astonishing news from burberry.... trade up 40% last 3 months.....shows the power of a competitive £ .having read encouraging trading reports for joules /supergroup i think we can take it the jimmy choo will be trading well .the thing is that the £'s fall is prob overdone and given fair wind over brexit will prob be getting stronger as we travel this new road we have chosen

Re: This is money Hi Games, I take no joy in seeing you 17% down but do take joy in being in good company.......This might take a while but we'll see blue again soon (one way or another).

Re: This is money "currently down 16% so could do with something helping the share price other than the weak £"I'm 17% down if that makes you breath easier. I understand LK's concern about the Trolley Dolleys at the helm, but I'm hanging on as the franchise seems to be taking route. The entry into men's shoes (haven't got a pair myself I might add), perfume and handbags looks interesting.I missed out on Ted Baker and have consistently and foolishly held back from buying their stock.I'm prepared to risk 0.5% of my wad on this, and if it has another year of consistent debt reduction and growth I'll probably double up.Burberry on the other hand is one of my best performers this year. It's 3.7% of my wad and I'm over 30% up. It's still cheap, has over £1/2 billion in the bank and no debt. The brand, which once went through a "chav" phase, has come out of that period swimmingly and the online success is it's biggest business.Games -- nice to av a bit a luxuuurry innit!!!!

Re: This is money Keith,I sold CHOO when Bart bailed and brought on board them two ravers as NEDs in his place. They look like pure party animals and party animals are generally bad news as regards the only thing that really matters, namelyLKH on the flybridge's divis .. out and staying out
