Sevco silence What's happened to all the sevco lurkers? Heard they all go to the rugby now.[link]

Virgil van Dijk Look like he may be getting his move in a 81m transfer. Another 8m in the door for Celtic. That covers all the transfer dealing for the summer with plenty of change left over.Need to get a loan of pedros caravan to bring the money up the road.

European Cup Draw - and CCP share price Yet again Celtic get one of the toughest ECL Groups. Seems to occur year in, year out - would be nice just for once to get a draw where we got a 50/50 chance ... but not this time - again !How do those English clubs ( Chelsea, Man U, Man City, L'pool .. specially Man U ! ) ... always manage to land in a Group which gives them a more than even chance of progress ? ( With the exception of Spurs this time .. they've also got a tough one )Will be interesting to see how the CCP share price performs tomorrow on the back of this draw ... probably stay fairly static as usual ? .... the low / minimal volume of trade has always intrigued me ... was tempted last year when the SP was hovering at around 75p for ages ... but good luck & Bon Voyage to all those believers who got in at 75p - a jump from 75p to £1.25 is not to be sneezed at ...Hail, hail ... Re: Is anyone selling here? A profit is a profit. You were pretty astute buying when you did.The market is forward looking and I'm pretty sure that the 30m is already factored in to the price. Also factored in to the price is another treble. My point is, there is very little scope for disappointment. You know that supporters are hardly objective rational people.I know I have said this before, but, I really wish one of the OF teams would have the balls to buy a lower league English club and work their way up to the premiership. You can only achieve so much playing Dundee, Motherwell ad Hamilton

Re: Astana 4 Celtic 3 - no sweat .. Clearly we need another central defender. We have about 12 first team midfielders. If I was refurbishing my toilet I would not hire 12 plumbers and no sparks/tilers.But that said..................Bring on Real Madrid.Hail Hail the Celts are there. [link]

Re: Is anyone selling here? I bought some here when rangers died. All the talk was of Armageddon and the share price was 29p. Mentioned on here was a great time to buy. Unfortunately I sold way too early. Perhaps selling now is still too early. Current market cap 121m. 30m just about to come in the door and one player being quoted as 20-30m. So one event in the bag at 30m and potential for another 30m. So that makes up half the market cap. Kinda looks like a hold to me.Only Celtic can mess up qualification for champions league going forward. They are always going to get a stab at it as winning the league year in year out is guaranteed. Unless somebody puts a major investment into Sevco that is.

Astana 4 Celtic 3 - no sweat .. Perspired for a few minutes tonight - then got a hot flush for a few minutes - but never really got a fever-sweat on .... well done to the Bhoys ... was never really going to be a panic game. Thought our Bhoys played very well throughout ..they still got back to the trade-mark Brendan Rodgers passing game when it mattered .... NtCham was totally brilliant ( another class version of Virgil-Van-Dijk quality ) ... what a player ..! .. and Leigh Griffiths - outstanding Lone-Wolf performance up front ... who needs Dembele .. ? Don't really mean that one Moussa ... hope you get back fully fit & rearing to go ... but top marks to the Griff - deserved his goal so muchRogic - does it again ... lays it off for the crucial goal ... Hail hail .... OverjoyedGJ

Re: Is anyone selling here? macbonzo .. if you were shrewd enough to get in to CCP shares at around 75p (where they were malingering for a long time ) ... no way would I refuse a big sell now at £1.25 / £1.30 ... fill your boots, bhoy ... wish I had the faith to get in to my clubs shares when I was pondering a year or so ago. But that's just me ... I dither on the good bets / dive in on the silly ones .. Lol"As good as it gets for Celtic ? "... probably - Celtic have a hopelessly-poor record in away games in the Euro Champions League ..( eg, todays result ...) ... and few teams progress in the Big-Money Euro competitions if they get walloped every time they play away from home ... good luckGJ

Is anyone selling here? From an entirely investment point of view, is anyone looking to sell here and book profits? Remember sell when you can, not when you have too. Is this, not really as good as it gets for Celtic? Why not sell and buy back? Too much is expected at this stage. Even if they do win the champions league, a profit is a profit

Lets all Laugh --- again ... at the Ragers ... haha-haha .. haha-ha. The fourth-worst part-timer team in Luxembourg ..?Pedro ... you're getting sacked in the morning ... tee-hee" Bring back Paul le Guen" ... is the cry around Govan ...Pmsl You should've stuck with the struggling Scots/Rangers players - instead of buying the struggling fly-by-night expensive foreigners. As for banning the Joe-foreigners from wearing the green boots they were comfortable in ... well, that one back-fired ... just a wee bit ... eh, Pedro .. ?I just can't get enough ... Hail hail

Re: my previous post ..my link failed .. That artificial 'country' - some people call it "Northern Ireland" v Republic of Ireland in Belfast 1993 ... hope this link works ... seems it didn't work in my previous post .. [link] only official Irish football team ( ROI ) qualified for the WCQ on that night via a 1-1 draw at Windsor Park Belfast .... despite the most disgraceful and vile abuse and from both the crowd .. and the Northern Irish / Linfield FC management team on the sidelines. The NI manager Billy Bingham also totally disgraced himself by urging on the Linfield mob to singing sectarian songs and abuse ...prior to that night I had admired his efforts as a player for NI After the game, many civilised ROI fans and players were stunned by the vitriol and hate they had undergone ... refer to Niall Quinn's book " Niall Quinn - an Autobiography"Northern Ireland - my birthplace - but not my Nationality ...So Lucky to have ancestors born in Republic .. and I am therfore 100% Irish .. and proudLol

Summer Siesta-and along come Linfield ... maybe, if they get through the preminary round ... A few words about Linfield - to any Scots readers of this discussion board that don't already know :.... Linfield are the Northern Ireland equivalent wing of the Arch-Haters & medieval neanderthal biggots of the Ibrox 'culture'. It took until the 1980's / 90's that Northern Ireland politicians and their ruling/bizarre Orrange classes of Torry-ism were forced by the UK gov't to dip their toes and minds into a century 300 years forward from their original 'brain-set' ... Linfield FC were left to also change and modernise their brain-set ... they had previously enjoyed a 'proud' history of never having employed a Cattholic player - nor even a Cattholic washer-up; nor even a Catthholic office clerk ... in all their "glorious" history. Now, Linfield have reluctantly taken on a few players, and token employees to show their lip-service to the 21st century. But even today - Linfield is the chosen hierarchy club of the NIFA ( another Orrange-dominated body) .. eg the Linfield /Windsor Park Stadium ( and Linfield) have been, and are continuing to be, subsidised and developed & financed for £millions by the NIFA -- to the exclusion of comparative subsidies to other worthy NI clubs. My conclusion ...Windsor Park & Linfield still stinnkk of their age-old stennch ....not many deoderant products will ever rid them of their stinnkking history ..PSI think The Green Brigade and all those Celtic fans should avoid going to Windsor for the game (if it happens) ... here's a little link to remind our Bhoys of the kind of "warmth & welcome" you could expect at the home of Linfield FC ... [link] ... Linfield fans / Billy Bingham and all the NI management team gave the Republic team - and their fans - such an unholy and vitriolic amount of abuse. It was an utter and total disgrace, but the UK & Irish media just let it go .... read more detailed info in Niall Quinn's book - "Niall Quinn - The Autobiography"My Message to the Green Brigade ... don't go ... deny them your money ... a modern Celtic and anything

Just one to go.. for the Celtic "Invincibles" " Hallo - hallo ! " .. "we arra-peepul " .. ! ... is now the silliest chant / battle-hymn from yester-year .. its not been heard in recent years of the history of Scottish football ... haha - haha .. ! ... and we won't be hearing that arrogant bolloxx for quite a few years to come ... and with a bit of luck, and all the Financial Institutions and their Investigators doing a good job ...the Ibrox financial cesss-pool will be condemned and committed to history ... ... and once the culture and history of the Ibrox venom-poison and ill-will has gone - the football world will be a brighter and more pleasant place in Scotland ....Hail - Hail
