Interims Last year the interims were released on 21st March. I've seen no announcement of when they will be this year, and there does not appear to be a Financial Calendar on the company website. Does anyone know when they are going to be?

Director Sales Not sure I like today's RNS

Re: Finals "but why would anyone sell today"A good questionBuy on the rumour and sell on the news. I made a note in late April to buy on the 200x moving average, achieved early August, when sp was just under £10. Forgot to read my note but clearly would have been a good idea. Confidential info has leaked out, published in Penny Share hence buys in the market and dramatic rise in sp. But..... volume of late is down compared to 26th July, 22nd Aug (someone hacked my thoughts and read my note) and 29th August. So... probably a good time to take profits, and clearly some have. In truth most of good news was presented to Sharesoc on 6th June:[link] to return to your question in more general terms: Within ISA/SIPP it makes no sense to wait for a share to go ex. The drop in sp is usually commensurate with the dividend. But if held outwith of tax wrapper I guess it depends if you pay higher rate tax, or have used up annual CGT allowance (which I have already this year, thanks to AVG).Regards,Seadoc

Re: Finals I know we have had a good rise of late, so profit taking is always likely, but why would anyone sell today>? Might as well hang on for the dividend & special dividend - only 1.5 weeks before it goes ex dividend.

Finals Super results & upbeat future.Sales up 27%, Profits up 36%, no debt, Dividend up 20% + a special dividend, 95% of income from outside UK, yield >3%. PE 20 (expensive, but given the surety of the earnings and likely growth, it is likely to look very cheap in a few years time.) I'm glad I found this beauty.

Re: Rise Whatever that tip in that magazine said & who read it, I don't know but it's certainly working wonders. Maybe I should stop doing the thorough painstaking research I do to find a company to invest in; and just listen to journalists.

Re: Rise "And results are out a week today"And that SHOULD help the share price.

Re: Rise Hardboy,I'm afraid it looks like it's just that it was tipped in Penny Share Letter - and that seems consistent with the profile of buying this morning - lots of small buys at the open.Usually these things reverse a bit over the coming days.

Re: Rise This sort of movement one associates with the release of some very strong news.

Rise Interesting and welcome move today; and long over due. I was thinking of posting something along the lines of "markets go up, markets go down, but BVXP doesn't go anywhere," as for the last month it has closed at the same price every day. But this rise is way overdue. Even if there is no growth in the business and there should be, 95% of their income comes from overseas, so the weakness in the pound should account for this increase; but why it's so much in one day I've no idea.

Hendersons Henderson were the 2nd biggest share-holder with 12.37% of the shares; but to day they announce their holding has dropped below 5%. Looking at recent volumes that looks unlikely - unless they have ben the only holder selling. More worrying is WHY?

Re: Disapppointing share price I agree the staff issue is highly unlikely; and I'm only making an issue of it, because it seems to be the one POSSIBLE event which could really damage the business. Having said that, it is amazing how often highly unlikely scenarios, which people had not foreseen actually occur - just look at the Labour Leadership issue at the moment. If someone challenges the leadership he/she needs the backing of 51 MPs or MEPs to mount a challenge; but no one knows whether the leader is automatically in the ballot against the challenger or whether the leader also needs 51 MPs/MEPs. No one had foreseen the eventuality when a leader could not command the support of 51 MPs. Always plan for the unexpected.

Re: Disapppointing share price HardboyRe export sales - we should see good uplift in profits if paid in local currencies . Not too worried about staff - more chance of being run over than winning the lottery . The only worry to me is PETER himself - the founder , brains , and sales department !

Hardboy 11 Jul 2016

Disapppointing share price Over the last few months. I know it is an illiquid share and not likely to move in consort with the markets; but when you see how exporters' shares have done since Brexit, and consider that 95% of BVXP's sales are ex UK, and there has been no negative news, I would have expected a little positive movement.
