US Update Some positives that we can all cling to.California has managed to get a draft Bill through a first stage which is encouraging, but many hurdles to overcome here.More positive is that Borgata has returned a profit of $1m from online which seems to give the impression that set up costs now over and income being generated. Now I have posted it will drop.

AGM Don't think we will hear any news until AGM takes place later this month, so more of the same.

Re: Going down ... or not? WhiteRose, you may or may not be correct, but until the whole 'talks' thing is resolved one way or the other, the market seems happy to tread water. Don't want to get caught short and don't want to invest more for fear of losing out. Therefore - Status Quo without the simple cords!

Re: Going down ... or not? Did I get "Going down" wrong as I was expecting the downward trend to continue. However, there appears to be an 80p support level from 22/08/14 that was tested at the end of September 2014 and bounced along since February 2015.Over this period the FTSE the moved down then up but like a mirror image of BPTY that went up then down.Eur/GBP over this period has weakened from 0.790 to 0.715 that does not help earning in Pound terms.Would you be tempted into buying between 80p and 81p or is the long term downward trend still dominant?

White_Rose 17 Apr 2015

Re: Going Down Share price not gone anywhere relative to Eur/GBP since results. If pound gets stronger against Euro expect further share price falls relative to FTSE100.However, buying opportunity of sub 70p would improve risk / reward ratio.Upside potential to 90p based on partial asset sale at a reasonable value.

Going Down Now dipped below 80p and with it going ex div next week, things not looking any better. How much longer can the Board keep saying they are still in talks? It is now 6 months since initial comments and what little credibility they had seems to be disappearing fast.Just a dog now with most investors giving up on it unless, like me they live in hope!!I would say 'sack the Board' to use a football analogy, but every one in recent years has failed to deliver, so we will just have to run with this one until we shut the doors or it is snapped up for a pittance.

Re: bwin.party digital entertainment loo... Dear meAlBent = Al Bentley [link] blatant with it too. It would be nice to think that ii weren't allowing you to spam the boards for the exchange of a few quid and that you were just spamming ?

Re: bwin.party digital entertainment loo... bankmuppet thanks for letting me know, will take a look further.

Re: bwin.party digital entertainment looking... Albent, thanks for the interesting overview of this company, but one key thing that does not appear to be covered is the risk from external influences (sorry if I missed during quick review). This share has taken a hammering from countries changing legislation re law and tax etc. and this has been the main reason for the decline. Germany and Greece has impacted the most (if we exclude the US) and if the position from 3-4 years ago was still the norm, profits and SP would be up at 200p, IMHO.
