Re: money raise Good morning Fatal, The dilution is not dilution, it was an exercise of warrants. A sign that someone believes they are worth having! Now calm down you old faart and enjoy the ride,,

Re: money raise FC, I'm not doing your homework for you!We need the money for many reasons despite current negotiations and monthly fees. I'll give you a couple of reasons for the need for the cash. Macquarie fees to help conclude a deal. Licence fees due to GOCB in June I believe at around $1m. There are others but you need to do some of your own research! Whilst you tongue was no doubt in your cheek, you describe yourself very well, nothing wrong with a bit of self awareness!

Re: money raise JBT, I am paying attention and wait for your elucidation with bated breath and whispering humbleness.None has been forthcoming so far. I am intrigued with a company raising money while on the cusp of of a bonanza, and am waiting for a reasoned, mature reply. Clearly, there is no way I am getting that from you.I will move on. So, laallee, what is your take on it?

money raise so, clever dicks, why are BPC raising more money, with yet another share issue, when we are expecting a farm in and £$millions of money put into the company???Uncas, you can start first.

Hallowed 25 May 2018

Re: RNS Thanks Uncas, like I say, on the face of it looks good and but SP will most likely see-saw for a while.

Uncas 24 May 2018

Macquaire We believe that Macquarie Capital's deep sector expertise in oil and gas will be of considerable benefit to BPC as we look to advancing our strategy. In addition, the funds raised through the Subscription gives the Company more flexibility in any negotiations."Now if we take a look at Macquarie's interests and what they spend their own wampum on we can see they may be a possible an equity partner. Not saying they will just they cud if they wanted to. And the £1m raised shows the exclusive partner BPC are not a distressed seller

Uncas 24 May 2018

Re: RNS Means more than that to me ..... ''to conclude a detailed technical evaluation of the Company's licences' - 'conclude' indicates they were far enough through dd to want to get very serious and second part of sentence:''and at the same time seek to develop a commercial framework for a potential transaction'' indicates they are talking farm out % and $m. This is a make or break deal for Chevron or Shell and if whoever it is doesn't do the deal the other may well jump in. Just like selling a house init? bwtfdik

Hallowed 24 May 2018

Re: RNS I think recent announcements about due diligence and Macquarie can be a two-edged sword - on the face of it, it would appear to be all positive except we are taking about BPC here. In light of rising oil prices and other small caps already announcing financing to undertake actual drilling, many were (rightly) expecting the same form BPC but instead we get news of another delay via exclusive 'due diligence' process on data that has been fully de-risked and independently audited. So something just does not sit right and my feeling is that this search process for a partner may take much longer than most expected.Good luck whatever your strategies!

Re: Malcy's blog I think it's Royal Dutch Shell, but the share has dropped today and that is a bit of a surprise, although some will be getting out early having made a few bob. It's always been a juicy ride - for me --- 8 years of nothing.

Uncas 23 May 2018

Re: Malcy's blog IMO it has to b one of them on costs and it's not BP...Chevron and Conoco having a bad time in Venezuela so it cud b anyone of the super 5 left.Chevron have been the most interested with their historical wells and exploration so I'm going with them, just for fun.If I'm right u heard it here first guys, if I'm wrong I don't care as long as it's a deal with a super major

RussAbbot 23 May 2018

Re: Malcy's blog Hmm, interesting wording Malcy. RNS stated major. Malcy states super major.

Clod12 23 May 2018

Malcy's blog [link] PetroleumWhen your shares go up by 375% in less than a month and you have no money in the bank the temptation to visit the ducks when they are quacking is not only too much to resist but eminently sensible. Raising £1.1m at 2.5p is hardly company changing, indeed having just appointed Macquarie bank it will probably just about cover the fees, but with recent good news of a suitor checking over the books and paying a quarter of a bar a month to do so things are looking up for BPC. Shareholders should not get overexcited, if the super major involved comes good it will be game changing but there are also downside risks to be aware of, at present though they are enjoying their days in the sun…
