Arc Minerals confident it could be sitting on 'something quite significant' at Zamsort I agree Nick knows what these assets are worth and won’t be rushed, knowing that cash would be needed at some point it makes sense to take advantage of two investors keen to get onboard and at a premium to the current share price. The trial plant which is due to be completed Q4 might also be a bonus. Nick said it wasn’t something they would have done normally but as it was 75% complete and would only cost $300,000 they decided to complete the plant. He says it is on track and under budget, once operational should provide a steady income stream and always good to show investors what the potential is.

Arc Minerals confident it could be sitting on 'something quite significant' at Zamsort Presumably ARCM did last week’s placing because they see no short-term likelihood of a completed sale from either of these two assets.

Arc Minerals confident it could be sitting on 'something quite significant' at Zamsort Zamsort Approached by two mining companies, they have signed MDA’s(Mineral Development Agreement) with them looking at areas that ARC aren’t specifically drilling themselves at the moment ARC’s modest size means they cannot explore 1,000 square kilometres themselves so they are looking at working with partners. Non core assets - CASA and Slovakia They are looking at outright sale or a joint venture CASA - In advanced discussions with Chinese parties and a Canadian outfit Slovakia - In discussions with four interested parties there. They are not in a rush and won’t fire sale those valuable assets.

Arc Minerals confident it could be sitting on 'something quite significant' at Zamsort Nick von Schirnding, executive chairman of Arc Minerals Limited (LON:ARCM), tells Proactive Investors that recent drilling at their Zamsort project has hit wide zones of copper and cobalt similar to other large deposits in Zambia. Arc’s drilling 11,000m at the Kalaba target at Zamsort and all 46 holes so far have hit metal with thicknesses up to 144m and an average between 60m to 80m. [link]

Arc Minerals reports strong results from early drilling at Kalaba in Zambia Nick von Schirnding, executive chairman of Arc Minerals LTD (LON:ARCM), tells Proactive’s Andrew Scott they’ve intersected extensive copper and cobalt mineralisation in drilling at the Kalaba prospect in Zambia, which is part of the larger Zamsort project. All four of the reverse circulation holes drilled intersected copper and cobalt mineralisation. Among the highlights were 20 metres at 1.31% copper equivalent, 25m at 1.24% copper equivalent, and 26 metres at 1.10% copper equivalent. In addition, 19 diamond drill holes have been completed with initial assays expected shortly.

Yesterday's RNS - The good news is coming After the teasing RNS on August 1st told us that mineralisation was visible and the analysts confirming this, we get another RNS yesterday hinting again that Kalaba/Zamsort is something special. “To date the drilling has intersected rocks that display a much higher degree of metamorphism than what is traditional for the Copperbelt region. The results of this is that far greater thicknesses of sulphide mineralisation have been intersected, with up to 80m in certain areas. Providing these levels of pervasive sulphide mineralisation continue, the initial target JORC compliant Minerals Resource Estimate of 16 million tonnes will most likely be exceeded.” We know Nick is cautious in his approach but you can sense he can’t wait to get the actual drill results back in two to three weeks. The share price rose about 11% yesterday so investors obviously viewed this release as positive but the share price at 4.7p is still below the high of 5.4p. If you think the results will not actually fulfil the promise then the shares are not a buy. However, if you think that after these hints the actual figures will show that this has the potential to be an exceptional resource, then this may be the last chance to buy below 5p. Nick obviously thinks this is ARC’s main asset and that is why he has been refocusing the business, increasing the stake in Zamsort to a controlling interest and selling off non core assets. The good thing is we will only have a couple of weeks before we get the first concrete figures which will give a much clearer picture of just how good Kalaba/Zamsort is. AIMO, DYOR
