Re: portfolio now showing over 15% proit made mistakes in the past but I'm a lot more consistent now and am confident in my choices lets see over the next month bear in mind when I ran the Virtual Portfolio one or two participants were making up to a 40% loss in one month. Some of the better results were from Loads marks and share maiden from memory

Re: portfolio now showing over 15% proit Not sure what mine is Nige, I know OXB, VRS, and PHE have just gone up. I know LOOP, ZTF, AAU, SXX have just gone up. I only hold 11 shares at the moment. None have gone down this week. Loadsadough

Re: VOD VOD has not gone up for 5 years. Why not buy Unilever, ULVR has gone up in 5 years from 2600p to 4110p. Or buy now OXB, or VRS they are doing very well. Like me I invest in ITM, PHE, or AAU, all will go up soon. VOD is in one day has 11 times mention without MD adde on. My ITM not mention only a few times compared to VOD. Give me ITM not VOD. VOD stand for Very Obsolete Department . Just through your money away IMO. There are plenty of way to make money without VOD. have a good way to make money.Loadsadough

Re: VOD Leb 40% of what where and how.My Pension income is indeed more than I need now. But the future? Who knows. If I have to sell VOD shares then it’s ok, I’ve been getting 15% annualised returns on a low risk, I repeat low risk, savings.Does your 40% have a low risk tag on it??Ripley I think I’ve just said this three times already tonight. For the fourth time, my VOD holding is not shares it’s the equivalent of an income account thus the rules of my share purchases and sales don’t apply. Re: VOD No because you could have made 40% invested elsewhere using your system - you don't spend your pension income so you don't need a savings account. i have 3 pensions and have money left over after all outgoings. You must have the same only much more as you are single don't run 2 cars etc.
