Dr M - Where is my cash? Dr MIn answer to where your questions about cash and savings account, most of my cash savings are held in NS&I Index-linked Savings certificates. Your capital never reduces (unlike VOD share price) and the interest is linked to the RPI plus a little extra. Unfortunately these certificates can no longer be purchased, but you can roll over existing certificates as they mature, adding in any or all of the interest you have earned, or make withdrawals at that point.Capital erosion does matter to most people, which is why I am not a fan of shares like VOD or LLOY but as you have already said we have had this discussion several times before and you even said you refused to read my post, where I outlined my reasoning, on a previous occasion so I won't bother re-iterating it again.

Re: portfolio showing over 16% profit - Nige Good afternoon Nige the snakeI haven't posted here for a while, I've been rather busy.Unfortunately I did notice what I believe to be an error with your latest portfolio valuation. I note that you have OXB as having a gain of +7993.91% which would be wonderful if it were true. It looks like your 'buy' price was £0.115 rather than in the region of £5.53-£6.45 which were the range of closing prices of OXB during March. This is still a very nice gain over a short period of time, but not anywhere near 7993.91%. It would be interesting to see the performance of your portfolio with this figure corrected.

vrs loads did buy at 114 see back from golf is up from that. Will wait and see am staying in this time.
