IanH - when shorters close they have to buy back the shares that they've borrowed and sold. They need to buy them back to give them back to whoever they borrowed them from. Therefore it should drive the share price up strongly (although they would probably do it bit by bit so as not the cause a sharp spike - it's naturally in their interest to buy them back at the cheapest level possible).

IanH - OK LSE and II are just other bulletin boards (LSE= London South East and II=Interactive Investor) - the discussions from their boards are 'scraped' and included within the DTM board - we see their posts but they don't see ours.

Ian - just checking that you know that posters from LSE and and II can't see your posts - only those of us on DTM can see them.

Don't understand Vader - if Roble have increased their short then the shares have already been sold on the market. To have any effect whatsover they would have to buy them back (which would increase the SP significantly) or borrow some more to short and increase their short further. The status quo (Roble doing nothing) means the SP is entirely unaffected by them at the mo.

IanH - good luck with those spreads (never had the balls myself). I'm sat on 100,000 shares (average of 35p) which obviously halved in value on that dark Tusday. Should probably have sold and bought back, but couldn't bring myself to do it. Have chosen to hang tight and ride it out - genuinely think I'll be fine, but becoming a BB addict while waiting for it to happen!

IanH - with you entirely here, but I won't be entirely comfortable that another raid won't happen until we're on the main list (which would make it much harder).

IanH - I think we're all expecting a spike when an RNS confirms the date that we'll be listed (and one when it actually happens). However, nothing is guaranteed of course. So, yep 23rd may be too late, but I'm told that notification could happen, simply the day before a listing occurs, so if it were late June you may still be OK.

IanH - I think it could come anytime in June. Obviously the earlier the better for us all, but can't rule out it happening late June. Mu understanding is we will miss the reshuffle date in June (3rd) as we need to have been trading for 20 days on the main listing first to be eligible for the FTSE 100/250 reshuffle (and we'd need to be on the mian list already to make that date). So, although we will be on the FTSE main list in June (and thankfully off AIM), we will only be eligible for 250 listing at the next reshuffle in September. Hope that makes sense. J
