Well thats a good start to the day! 30% increase in reserves (That was far more than I envisaged from pit deepening - a extra 65m depth!!! - That is going to be one massive hole in the ground). That also means that the reserve upgrade if we get permission to extend the width is going to be much larger - altogether the reserve could be doubled from what it was a week ago! With no extra CAPEX! I reckon 40pps by October.

Re: Thor Mining RNS Hemerden is a steady project; it is making progress on time and on plan towards production; a very compact, strong organisation and operation, which can only improve from its already high standard.

Thor Mining RNS Thor Mining have just released thia rns on activities in their Northern Territories mine (Molyhil Tungsten Project: [link] They are hoping to increase the size of the project, which has yet to be funded and is well in arrears of what is happening at Hemerdon.

Re: Prediction smilingmickey1 - most of the current forecasts suggest that this metal is on the endangered list as far as metals are concerned. Some of the mines are in remote regions of China and South Korea with difficult access and fault lines to contend with. Stocks are on the wane and nothing is coming through the pipeline. I can only pass on what I deduce from my investigations but do not intend to go into the details here as they are readily available on various websites. dyor is my suggestion.

Re: Prediction Iclaude,These conflicts have been going on for some considerable time. The latest price trend graph I saw for AMT showed a downward trend over the past year down from 360 to 280. So it would be appear no shortages right now to drive up the price. Hope for Wolfe's situation you are correct.

Re: Prediction redcatsam,The mine is in Devon, so I would predict drizzle with intermittent sunny intervals. On the sp, I would be surprised to see a price above 26p (my last sale price) this year, and am still considering whether to buy back, & if so at what price?

I think there is more upside than that, we have a resource upgrade as a result of pit wall steepening due, that should at 10%, we also have another resorce upgrade due later this year with an increase in the mining area, that should add another 15%. If the seven day crusher operation gets the green light, that should add another 5%. That is all in additon to the rise than can be expected as we close in on production. I'm thinking a 50% rise on the current position by the end of the year to around 30pps.

Re: Prediction Fortunately, whatever happens at the general election is unlikely to affect world prices for wolfram. We are told that European countries' economies are belatedly beginning to pick=up momentum. Russian activity in Ukraine and NATO's response is likely to increase demand for armour piercing shells and The Middle-eastern conflicts will still be in full force until the fanatics can be ousted. Asia, meanwhile will be 'tooling' up for more manufacture and production as worldwide growth continues. There is going to be a shortage of wolfram for at least the next three years, until further mines can be brought on stream. We see how long that takes with WLFE. So having regard to all of these factors what sort of prediction can we reasonably make? With production set for October, we need to look at two substantial rises in sp to cover roughly 18 months from then. I would expect a rise in sp of 8 - 10p by October and perhaps 20p further by October 16. Fingers crossed!

Prediction Anyone prepared to give a forecast?????

The exchange doesn't say whether a trade is a buy or a sell, Its a computer algorithm that takes a stab at figuring it out based on the price.

Re: Spike over The presentation on the company's website paints a clear picture of where this mine is heading. The product is sought after and will be in short supply. The management team that has lined up are knowledgeable people with local connections. The project is fully funded and will be getting some results by Q.3. This could go a long way with many private investors buying over the past 2 working days. Whilst there may be some profit taking the sp has a long way to go.

Ocean Fox 23 Feb 2015

Re: Spike over That is great - but why? No RNS, no news that I can find, only moderate buying but up we go!

Galed 23 Feb 2015

Re: Spike over Lol, I'm nearly there as well.
