European holidays Fiddler, I suspect you are right that more acquisitions are brewing. They've made no secret of their plans. However, given they have said they are intending to grow in Europe, I don't expect anything imminently as all Europe is on holiday in August!!!

Re: Results Well I've got to say, I was wrong!I didn't see them surging ahead that quickly, but I'm not conplaining.These are well past the broker forecasts but we need fresh forecasts since the results coming out. Maybe they won't forecast if they think they are currrently overvalued a little.I can only assume that something big is brewing, either some more acquisitions or even someone making a bid to buy the group!Personally I'm hoping for more acquisitions, taking it to £7.50-£8, then a buyout at £9-£10.All day long I'd biddy biddy bum ...

You must admit That when I get it wrong, I do so in style. Suggesting a target price of 200p looks just a mite ridiculous now. Where from here (624p) I would not know.

Possible reason why... Pure conjecture: Berenberg started covering VCP awhile back (year or so ago)...when they did, it moved higher strongly at that point. Now they are just appointed an official house broker...combined with good results....maybe they have raised the company profile with some of their investors and an upgraded note post results?Or someone knows something that Most others don't.

Well smashed through £6 !! I dont know whats driving this, any one any brokers research notes that they want to share , someone must be picking up the stock as the price is just leaping ahead every day this week. Most welcome, even though I have banked some bunce this week . K.C.M.

Re: Wow spread down to .03p--well it was... TIGER IN 2001 we were paying £1.27 a share, that's only 25.4p a share at todays 1 for 5 split, and as the shares are now knocking on the door of £6 !!! Its been a great long hold and a 24 bagger !!! , even though I have sold along the way and banked the special dividend too !! K.C.M.

There must be a lot of confidence and positive projections for VCP, and whilst I am and have been very well rewarded with being a holder for over 18 years , am happy to bank some profits too. K.C.M.
