News Anyone any news? Anyone interested? SP continues to slip and perhaps the market sees no sales for the first six months and few if any sales of any completed properties during Jan to March. Any thoughts?

BOWOOD 24 Oct 2016

Full Year I know this is some time off but I am a little concerned that although we may see some builds completed by the 31 March year end any sales could be a problem. This will mean missing the Allenby forecast - again.

BOWOOD 25 Sep 2016

Half Year Six months to 30 September will show a loss of about £200k IMO as we will have no turnover. The interest when announced in December will be about an update for the second half when current builds will be completed and hopefully sold.

AGM We have the AGM in a weeks time and perhaps an update on build progress and site acquisition. Is anyone thinking of going?

Re: Alenby Thanks for that N&S. Seems to me that real progress is going to be quite slow and that TRAF will either need to entertain an RTO or raise funds to build/scale the business. Building a single digit number of houses each year is not going to satisfy investors.

Alenby I understand that Alenby Cap has issued an up to date forecast - has anyone seen this or knows what it says?

BOWOOD 21 Aug 2016

Re: how on earth.... Work in progress will ensure that earnings will support a sp of at least 2p. Beyond that I can see Staplehurst and additional sites generating further profits. An RTO Is a must for the current year and the CEO has hinted at this in the Annual Report. IMO in a couple of years or less we will be looking at TRAF and wondering why we did not buy in at 2p or less.

how on earth.... does this company manage to turn a potential silk purse into a sows ear once again

BOWOOD 12 Aug 2016

Re: why is this falling The RNS also said that TRAF swung from a profit to a loss which of course was the complete opposite to what did happen. I think planning has got to be further lifted if targets are to be me but I do not think TRAF is of the size to give it problems.

Re: why is this falling Having re-read the RNS I can only out the fall down to the statement "Nevertheless, we strongly believe that as long as planning restrictions remain obstructive there will continue to be a considerable shortage of housing supply in the south east," said Trafalgar Homes." This isnt what you want to hear from a house building company in the south east who is supposed to be making increasing amounts of profit year on year! Also its something that negativly impacts thier business which is out of their control, so not good for business prospects as they are not going to easily grow their business if they are being held back by the council planning red tape! IMO This and brexit and you have your drop.... I guess.

razali 11 Aug 2016

why is this falling with a return to profit and a good pipeline for the next year sure this should go up. also when do you think the 3.2p price target will be reached?

ribs 10 Aug 2016

Re: Interest Hi Yes certainly a more positive statement from Trafalgar today, not much sign of the re-rate (currently down 6%), not sure what the market doesnt like about the update, maybe it is the fact they have had to re-submit the planning permission or just the market is down in general on Brexit and house builders.Hope it does go back up to 2p

BOWOOD 10 Aug 2016

Re: Interest RNS looks good and prospects look as good as they have ever been IMO. Must be worth at least 2p

BOWOOD 09 Aug 2016

Re: Interest I think we pretty well know what the y/e figures will be from the recent update but it is IMO all about the CEOs message on the prospects over the coming year, and from the Allenby note the potential looks good enough for a modest rerate in any event. Also I am keen to see if there will be any news on yet to be started developments new land buys and in particular if any progress has been made at Staplehurst which would be a relatively large project. We shall see on Wednesday but I still think a M/C of £4.5m or 2p is not unreasonable until more is known about the March 2017 year.
