Share holding I have a few shares in the above company. What happens to my share holding?

OilPrince 04 Nov 2015

Not yet sold? This was on 2nd Sept in the FT"...Ian Spence, analyst at Megabuyte, the research group, said that “a counter-offer cannot be completely ruled out, given the weight of private equity money in the sector currently”.Has anyone heard anything?

Re: Well they accepted it... TIG management have accepted the bid thus by definition deeming it to be a fair price. If you were a rival company looking at the situation and considering making a higher bid then I would think it would be difficult to convince your board / shareholders that you were not paying over the odds.I'm disappointed that the 40p bid was accepted, I would love to be proven wrong here but the fact that it has been accepted will set the wheels in motion for a sale at this price and not any higher in my view.

Re: Well they accepted it... Yes hold. This deal still has to be voted through by shareholders and given the bargain price there is the possibility of a higher bid by a rival bidder. Even if this deal does go through, by waiting you will get the full 40p and pay no costs but if you sell now you will lose half the spread and pay commision on the sale.

Well they accepted it... I've held this since it was 16p so a great upside for me - but I do feel disappointed at the buy out price. Is there any reason to hold onto this now since buy out is the same as current price?

40 miserable pence!!! I cannot believe that this company will sell so cheaply! They've been doing very well the last couple of years and I thought the share price would rise accordingly. How on earth did they work out that 40 pence is a good offer?

Re: Possible buy out at 40p? Hi allDoes anyone think a counter bid will be made for this Company? Have done some research on the net and can see that Panmure Gordon put the company’s enterprise value (EV) at £624 million which equates to 52p per share. Would Innovation be a good fit for Guidewire Software (GWRE:NYSE) to acquire ?

Re: Possible buy out at 40p? Hi Zulu,I agree this is not a good offer. Panmure Gordon have a target price of 51p on TIG shares.[link] according to Mark Kleinman at Sky News "City sources said the deal was expected to be backed by a number of Innovation's largest shareholders, including Henderson Global Investors." Re: Possible buy out at 40p? Its not a done deal. Not at my pc but how much do directors hold. They have to get major shareholders to agree. Will they as this is not a good off

Re: Possible buy out at 40p? Agree. Getting this cheap. But at least they didn't get it for 15p a few years ago. Shows how long I've held TIG. One of my absolute favourites.

Re: Possible buy out at 40p? Go away big bad wolf. I want to see TIG grow and grow as they're destined to. 40p/share is derisory, total ignores the impetus behind this company.

Possible buy out at 40p? Possible buy out at 40p? 40p would be a 13.47% premium to last nights close of 35.25p, not exactly the biggest takeover premium I've seen. Views anyone?[link]
