Tesco stocking SIS Saw SIS Running Nutrition Kit and Cycling Nutrition Kit in local Tesco, both £14.99. Never noticed their products outside specialist shops before.

England Football Team and SIS Nice to see Jordan Henderson having a SIS gel before he came on as sub in the England v Turkey friendly last night. Lets hope we see more of that free advertising in the summer at the European Championship while millions across Europe and beyond are watching.Mr H

Team Sky 1&2 at Herald Sun Tour I can only notice that Science in Sport is visible on the bidons (drinks bottles) , still Sky off to winning ways in the new season so lets hope SiS can get some good publicity out of the relationship - I am a bit disappointed there is no jersey logo though....

RNS + Current Account Running Costs Noting the proceeds now made available through the placing, does anyone have a feel for the above...? Strikes me that we are in a pretty healthy position going forward and with enormous potential in the new markets.

Re: Placing today BB - you will get your chance to buy below 60 in the open offer - albeit only on a 1 for 15 basis.Dragon - yes there is a huge customer base in the US, that is what always attracts UK companies in there. It doesn't mean they will be able to make profits there.

Re: Placing today Given they've got the placing away without a discount, all be it, after a slow drop to yesterday's sp, I'm not sure the share dilution is really an issue. The money raised is going into the business so, barring the costs of the placing and the open offer itself, the business will theoretically be worth more post placing.It was fairly obvious ( see my first post on the 6/10 ) that some fund raising was going to be needed. In some ways, I'm glad they've gone for such a large fund raising which will remove some uncertainities. It was oversubscribed so Moon's persuaded some of the city boys that his business plan makes sense. For sure, there's some risk involved, but to grow, you need to take risks. Probably a bit like you, I'd have liked to see more focus on operating profits to build up a stronger cash position, but it's never been a secret that SiS is focusing on revenue growth, so there's always going to be quite a large element of jam tomorrow here.I was waiting for the sp to drop below 60p before topping back up and it just about got there.
