Support and Resistance at 10.35p now hi nest, just wondering if you have an updated view on SEE and its chart…

Rumours of a TO on ADVFN BB Also on lse under “fight of the titans” or some such. Battle between Amazon, Apple, Google et al to buy us out. They’ll need a few bob to get mine! TP

Rumours of a TO on ADVFN BB I have mentioned that SEE must be looking a threat / irritation to the big boys , I can understand them wanting the IP.

Support and Resistance at 10.35p now Flying today N, +15% I had same problem posting links, it’s posible to do it before the page goes blank bu you’ve got to hit the post button as soon as you’ve completed the link (and quickly!) SEE has a sound future with its patented tech that’s going to be pretty standard equipment on vehicles going forward. Not sure what exactly has prompted today’s spurt but I don’t see it going backwards any time soon. Still a “BUY” for me Good luck, TP

11.80 close better than expected A good example is Surface Transforms (SCE) who started making after market carbon fibre brake discs for high performance road and track cars. For years they’ve been trying to persuade volume OEMs (car makers) to adopt their tech. Now they’ve signed up Aston Martin and are in the final stages of signing up three prestige German OEMs and one English. Ramping up fianal testing and production in readiness for next year when contracts kick in. Just one case where signing OEMs can be transformational. Sorry for o/t folks TP

11.80 close better than expected Yes well known to engineers no doubt

11.80 close better than expected Yes, as described in TP’s post. The abbreviation OEM has been around a long time - since I started work, at least, and I am greying quickly now.

nest_of_rampers 21 Jun 2018

11.80 close better than expected Thanks , I am guessing that SEE’s IP is all in a chip so almost any camera type manufacturer could help out with manufacture? I haven’t checked out this area of the business .

theprior 21 Jun 2018

11.80 close better than expected Yep, the OEMs are the original equipment manufacturers, as opposed to those in the after market. Sometimes referred to as tier 1 and tier2. OEMs are the golden goose as far as SEE are concerned because it means their stuff is included in the product at manufacturing stage rather than an aftersales add on. TP

11.80 close better than expected YOu used the acronym OEM Original Equipment Manufacturer ? really ! Not seen that one before

theprior 20 Jun 2018

11.80 close better than expected NoR, it’s “original” ) TP

nest_of_rampers 20 Jun 2018

11.80 close better than expected OEM is that - Other Equipment Manufacturer ? Surely anyone with enough cash can buy it , if the BODs get a offer there has to be a EGM for there to be a vote on whether or not to accept it. With 2.4 bill shares a offer of 50p values SEE at 1.2 bill , is it or will it be worth that ? only Co’s like Google and BMW will know that . If SEE is to be sold the sooner they bid the cheaper it will be as the nearer to 2021 we get the more attractive SEE is.

11.80 close better than expected Thanks, I do try to be balanced in my views. As for expectations of a corp buyout? I wouldn’t like to speculate on this at this stage. Given where the EU are going in respects to mitigating against human error through sleep and or in vehicle distractions, it does look as though SEE are in the right space, which makes it attractive for an OEM. SEE needs a period of consolidation now.

Support and Resistance at 10.35p now tried to post a link to a chart and got trapped for days , it would just go to a blank page when I tried to post. Be interesting to see where we finis the week , I think some profit takers had 2nd thought s and bought back in .
