Brown envelopes Great appointment with Isatou Semega-Janneh, must have showed signs of complete dishonesty to get promoted. Should be good for the brown envelope hand outs, certainly needed for that country/continent.

ABB @ 35p Since 21 June and as of 9 October 2018, the changes to notifiable holdings at 3% or more are: Miton Asset Management Limited – increase of 11,963,136 shares from 6.76% to 8.22% Ashmore Investment Management Limited – increase of 22,139,790 shares from 4.30% to 7.01% Standard Life Aberdeen plc – increase of 6,836,998 shares from 4.89% to 5.73% (Notified had 5.70% in August) International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) – crossed 3% to 4.77% with 38,986, 437 shares TT International - announced they had crossed the 3% threshold on 24/07/18 with 24,569,014 shares. Then announced on 21/08/18 they had increased by a further 8,885,702 shares going over 4%. Since then have increased by another 3,217,300 shares to 4.49% Henderson Global Investors – now gone under 3%. Had 25,233,434 (3.09%) No change to: Capital Group Companies, Inc. (8.00%), VR Global Partners, L.P. (4.57%), Legal & General Investment Management Limited (3.45%), Fidelity International Limited (4.10%), Andrew Knott (3.22%)

Kalan You say you sold VOG at a relatively recent all time high and bought into SAVP who are, by the look of the chart, about to go up or down pretty dramatically depending on news over the next few weeks, yet you are ramping this company on the VOG thread. It says a lot about you!

Kalan What happens to SAVP SP short term if this doesn’t happen? “As per the announcement on 20 September 2018, the Company continues to anticipate that the Implementation Agreement will be executed by the interested parties by the end of October 2018.â€

Re: more Niger good news and yet s/p not The second well had more than double the net oil pay of the first well. As such it is a more significant discovery.Savannah have done an excellent job in their Niger exploration programme to date. I do not know whether the share price is subdued because they are still digesting the Seven acquisition, but they do seem to be in control and know what they are doing.

more Niger good news and yet s/p not waking up to any meaningful extent.. started with a half decent bounce granted but given that up now.. disappointing again.. but I still believe this is very undervalued and added a small amount more here now...Final final completion of the Seven deal is scheduled by end of this quarter I think ? so in next three weeks.. hopefully this happens in these timeframes and if yes hopefully the s/p then has a good re rate off the back.. if delayed a bit, then a small step back for s/p, I guess. if delayed more than a bit then a bigger step back perhaps.. etc... depends on reasons of course..
