Re: baverstock, a6 I doubt there will be much trading unless 141 has stonking flows and/or somehow demonstrates a significant increase in potential reserves (bearing in mind there probably wont be any CPR confirmation for some time as we've just had an update). These shallows are fairly small beer.In any case what has that got to do with Baverstock deal or A6? Is it just a half-hearted ramp.

Re: baverstock, a6 Well 141 is now near total depth so we should have some serious trading in the next days/weeks. A nice few K is here waiting for the taking for those who know how RXP moves on news!

baverstock, a6 Baverstock:Are there any views about the proposed merger with Baverstock?A6As far as i can see this is the only deep of the 3 that is in progress, the latest RNS suggests the other 2 have not been progressed much beyond the previous update.Any views about timing of A6 TD, and assuming a hit whether the company will make announcement before or after flow tests?

Rns results A good news story slowly unfolding...Phil...

RNS Shallows CPR RNS today, Competent Persons Report by GCA gives RXP share of reserves for shallow fields as 17.1 mmbl 2P. Bit disappointed with the numbers, thought it might be 50 mmbl +.Appears there are two fields and not one large one. However CPR reports will be conservative, and RXP are going to drill a shallow well in the extension area this year, so there is the potential for additional reserves. Company says shallows give a core value around 10p per share, I had 5p per share estimated and this will not be far off when Roxi takes Baverstocks 42% interest. So my new core value is around 7p per share. sp currently 10.75 up .75p.DYOR

Clarification As per final results, Well 141 is in the the MJF structure, with a further shallow drill (W142?) in MJF in 2016. RXP will also drill a shallow well W808 in the extension area this year. There will also be a further deep well spudded this year between A5 and 801. Note financial year end is 31/12/2016.I would expect the same rig to drill all the shallows, cheaper to give a three well contract? If so going to be hard pushed to complete two shallow drills and spud a third before year end. I would guess the deep well would be drilled by one of the rigs currently involved at A5 A6 and 801. I am unsure as to whether there is sufficient information in the public domain to know which heavy duty rig is at which site. This is a busy and expensive schedule for a company reportedly low on cash.DYOR

RNS Shallow well 141 spud Roxi think the shallows are a large field and very valuable. I am still trying to figure out if the new drill is in the newly acquired extended acreage. Fixed drilling costs at a reasonable $1.25 million. Cash running low, no news on the three deep wells currently being drilled and/or tested.Where will all the costs for further development come from? I am sure there are behind the scenes negotiations with a potential farm in partner.- short term cash can come from the Director who subscribed for shares at around 7p. He still has a few million dollars to put in. RXP however say they do not really want to dilute any more.- As previously stated I expect deep drilling news in October, it may be we get simultaneous news of a farm in partner for either the deeps or shallows or both.- Could be a takeover approach before current cash runs out, end 2016 or early 2017.IMHO DYOR

RNS More director buying nm nm

bobsson 29 Jun 2016

Operations update Todays pre AGM statement contains ops update. Very slow progress reported, and nothing much new, but A5 is going to sidetracked before any production testing. Starting to look like October will be the month for news on A5, A6 and 801. Worth remembering that deep wells in Kaz are notoriously difficult to drill successfully, even the majors struggle. Deep well problems have seen off a number of minnows including MAX, so slow progress is better than disaster.DYOR

Director Buying again with news that Edmund is buying another large chunk of shres , this bodes well imo, GLA LTH it sometimes pays to follow suit , he is closer to the action and can see the potential that Roxi has now become, adding more

opulentia 14 Jun 2016

Looking Good looks like Roxi set to move on now permanently from the single digit Sp, news due on A5 and A6 any day now, then we can look forward to the other news on BNG towards the end of the year the news on the 24 planned wells will start to filter through, a new reserves report in the next couple of months , will underpin the value here. GLA LTH keep adding , imo
