Tuckman1 06 Aug 2015

Whats this? Come on RMP, some life at last....The bid is building up very nicely...I would ramp but maybe first signs of results this weekend with gas?I certainly would be nice to get back up past 4p and onwards to 5 again

Buys picking up Looks like a bit of buying pressure here, after the last few days we need it and all it needs now is steady volume for a nice rise back up.csf

why drill Hawkeye ? CEO repies listen to our Hawkeye-1 well operator Otto Energy's CEO & MD Matthew Allen explain why Hawkeye the prefered exploration drill in his own words " Hawkeye-1 prospect a very large oil target ""we have a very good chance we have a very material oil discovery here it would be the single largest oil accumulation discovered in Philippines to date" [link]

Re: Something not right here... RMP is, and always has been, a high risk share. Its not an investment. There is no need for conspiracy theories, the reason for the price fall is simple;1. More shares being sold then bought as traders de-risk ahead of news.2. Very low volume and low market capitalisation = high volatility3. Short term outlook for the oil price is very bearish. However for those with an appetite for high risk there is the chance of a multi- bagger here. As always don't bet what you cant afford to lose. As the chance of failure is much higher then the chance of success!

Maersk Venturer drill bit Hawkeye-1 drill bit on ultra modern Maersk Venturer drill ship closing in on target - crew on board are highly experienced - Otto Energy been a decade planning Hawkeye operation - Otto already experienced in Philippines area re there own Galoc discovery. agree with following sharpeye quote: " i do have a understanding of geology and base my investment decision on that. Let the 1000mtr odd target enter into the hole created by the drill bit and then i will know whether the pressure of holding or selling has been worth the wait. As the saying goes " if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen"Seismic Hawkeye[link] Hawkeye details:[link] [link] your a trader then just ignore above please.

Re: Something not right here... This is an exploration well in a so far unproven field. A 1 in 3 chance of success is also a 2 in 3 chance of failure. I am surprised how far the sp has fallen, but not that it has fallen. It is also unclear what will happen after the drill with success or otherwise. RMP cash could quickly disappear after 2/3 offshore drills.RRL is not for discussion here, but RRL drills are in proven fields and most will be production drills.

Re: Something not right here... I think it will reach its potential as it can potentially DE-risk the whole basin and that would be great. Throw in the gas aspect and IMO this could be a huge game changer. We just have to be patient

Re: Something not right here... There is risk on the drill, but no clear thought as to what comes next if successful. Production? Sale? Price?SP will no doubt rise on success but will it reach its potential?Timing Indeed!GLA

Re: Something not right here... Tuckman, even though the economy is 'on the up' and there is more of a 'feel good factor' out there, it makes you wonder if people have ever been so risk averse???......doesn't look like the days of 2010 will ever return. So, to be clear on this, after what we have seen sp wise over the past few weeks, I think it is fair to say that we are only likely to see double figures again on a definite strike. Goes to show just how slim the chances are of also seeing those with RRL!Volumes are probably low partly due to many being away on their hols......great timing hey!

Re: Something not right here... It is dropping because more people are selling and not enough buyers. It never got above 5p because of the placing overhang. The `oversubscribed` placing (I wonder why) gave people the chance to make 20% knowing there would be volume before spud to sell. They did. Now people who do not want the risk of the drill who bought sub 3p have sold. Simple will be an easy get in if/when buying volume in great detail (ie leak of find) comes through and people can generate more profit on the way up.I just wish (lesson learned) I sold my lot at 5p. People just do not want the risk in today when they can sit and wait and make definite profit on jumping in on a find. Yes maybe not as much as being in from the beginning but a profit is a profit and they do not have the risk of the drill.I will do the same on the Cinco drill if that happens next
