NEW ARTICLE: Redde rockets as forces upgrades "What's in a name? Well, about £205 million if you're LSE:REDD:Redde - the name in Latin is linked to the concept of restoration. That's how much the provider of accident management and legal services to motorists has gained in value since ..."[link]

Re: AT trades you can set a price with the broker that if the price say goes down to £1.20 its automaticly sold ..problem is a market maker could mark down the price to gain more shares at your expense if he feels the price will rise .don't trust any one ! ,,also you can order a buy at £1.20 if the share is £1.30 they will buy if it falls to you price,,,,IMO.

AT trades Hi Guys, I have asked this question before but never got an answer. What is an AT trade? I know that it is an Automatic Trade but who or what decides it? Is it triggered by support / resistance levels or something else. Perhaps somebody out there knows the answer and can tell me.

Paul Scott's view Redde (LON:REDD)Share price: 122.5pNo. shares: 294.1mMarket Cap: £360.3mTrading update - it's more good news from this legal services, accident management group. The group has undergone a remarkable transformation in the last couple of years, coming back from almost going bust, to being strongly profitable and cash-generative - unlike most other players in this sector. It has also been paying out generous dividends. As the company has a 30 June year end, today's update covers Q3, which has seen "strong trading volumes ... operating profits exceeding the Board's expectations". Excellent stuff!Cash collection - "a new record low" for debtor days, down to only 104 days, "and further reductions are expected". Compare this with the chronic inability to collect in cash which plagued, and ultimately destroyed Quindell.Redde seem to have adopted a far better business model of doing work which pays out quickly, rather than high margin work where you can still be waiting to be paid two years later (such as Quindell's ill-fated industrial deafness venture).Cash - gross cash is down £0.4m in the quarter to £62.8m, but a dividend of £11.3m was paid during that period, so the business has been very cash generative.Valuation - the shares have been an excellent performer, but are now beginning to look as if they are up with events, in my view.Broker consensus is for 7.9p EPS this year and next year. So assuming they might exceed this a little, say 8.5p for this year? Then at 122.5p per share the PER is 14.4. That's probably enough for this sector, which is vulnerable to regulatory changes, and where there is increasing competition. Special Offer: Invest like Buffett, Slater and Greenblatt. Click here for details »Dividends - Redde pays out almost all its earnings in divis, and can afford to, given its strong balance sheet. The current year yield is 6.1%, so attractive to income seekers, providing the earnings & hence divis are sustainable. That can't be taken for granted, as regulatory changes have thrown this sector into turmoil before, and could do again, who knows? My opinion - it's not a sector I like investing in, but Redde has been my favourite share in this sector for some time now, and the shares have done very well. The valuation looks to be up with events now though, so personally I've sold up & moved on.[link]

Re: Pension Pot ? and again today

Rosycheeks 24 Apr 2015

Pension Pot ? Wow, big vote of confidence, someone at 12.14pm "according to trades" has just bought 224,972 shares at 123.88p at a cost of £278,698. Maybe cashing in their pension pot.

Reduced weighting Hi All,Rightly or wrongly decided to reduce by 50% my weighting in these as it reaches 100% gain.Happy and intend to hold reduced amount and buy back on any decent market wobbles. Some will not agree with selling but sits better with me to sell some at current highs which reduces my overall weighting in these.GLTA

Re: information please Thank you lankie, I don't know how to read these things, to me Woodford had sold 14% of Redde which could have been a severe knock to investor confidence.

lankie 01 Apr 2015

Re: information please I think that once you got more than 3% of a company you need to notify the company every time your shareholding breaches an additional percentage point. All that's happened here is that Woodford has gone from just below 14% to just over 14%

Rosycheeks 31 Mar 2015

information please Hi Guys, a bit of information please. There is a 'news' posting today which states that clients of Woodford Investment Management acquired or disposed of 14% (40,142,856) of Redde. At just over a quid a share that is a serious wad of cash. I know that I am a bit slow on these things and probably not reading it correctly but if anyone can put me right, please do.

Another closely linked opportunity Have a look at Haversham Holdings - a lot of things in common with Redde re shareholders , management and sector. Cash shell which has just acquired British Car Auctions which also encompasses webuyanycar.com.Neil Woodford and co have backed Avril Palmer Baunack again - they know what they are doing. Maybe an opportunity to get on the bus at the beginning of a lucrative journey ?
