Re: Good May weather Agree .. and May is particularly important given the 2 bank holidays ...

Muzzletoff 31 May 2018

Good May weather Wonder whether this had a positive effect on RBG revenue for the period. I presume ordinarily summer months are best for cocktail etc related sales.

PAUL SCOTT . Claims hes buying @ 140p as Stonegate must of thought offer 17 Oct 2017 was good value for them. The offer which was recommended was at a premium of 62% but was rejected by holders.

Re: I thought the results were ok so was a bit disappointed with the share price reaction. There's always the possibility that a bidder will come out of the woodwork again if the share price stays this low.

Interesting results .. they are doing most of the right things .. at over 30% plus return on investment and low levels of debt, they should put their foot down and ramp up roll out . They should also start share buyback programme at this share price .. 25m pounds of debt easily carried by the strong cash flows here. EPS would rise very strongly.

Good entry point? Why is £1.70 not a bargain? Surely a deal will be done at a minimum of £2.03 or is the risk that a deal wont be done at all and the share will drift back down to the £1.20's.Sorry if I have missed something but it looks a good buy, with obvious risk of course

Merril Lynch bought 50,000,000 with other people's money last week. I sold weeks ago but will buy again at some stage.

Re: Stonegate deal voted down Deltic stated that 203p was significantly undervaluing RBG and Artemis rejected the offer presumably for the same reason - maybe 170p not a bad entry point? Just a thought.

Stonegate deal voted down What a mess Deltic, Artemis and Stonegate have made of this. Just have to hope it hasn’t affected the management of the business.

Professor Fang 09 Oct 2017

Re: Rise In a nutshell... Artemis hold 15% of RBG shares and they are rejecting Stonegates derisory £2.03 offer. RBG have today rejected Deltic's merger offer. My guess is that Stonegate will up their offer to pacify Artemis. Prof.

Rise Why has the share price risen?

JohnyCash 04 Oct 2017

Sold Cashed out at 210p. I'll miss out if a better offer comes along but I'm not convinced Deltic have the cash and it's a bit late in the day for an offer from elsewhere.210p better than 203p.....JC

RNS RNS released to dayDeltic have deadline of 10th October to make offer...........JC

Re: Deltic to consider cash offer !! 203p including the dividend is not an increase from the previous indicative level. I do not think the board honestly thinks this is a good outcome for shareholders - we are significantly below where we were just a few months ago. But more surprising, given the telegraph article is that Keith ashwortth lord has backed the deal - he runs castle field ..
